Amp Going into Protect

Check the voltage when the amp cuts out on the song and rule out voltage drop! -
The right one is the Havoc! They are the same drivers!
-
LOL, yea it's a nice motor but .... Will leave it at that.

He has a DC sub listed in his sig? EDIT: I guess DC offers the same in the upper levels. My bad, I guess that's what I get for not paying attention to any of these newer brands. lol, hard to know what DC offers. -
Bob didn't build those! They are SJA (Atomic) built drivers.

IA offers .7ohm coils and 1 ohm coils. The DCR on the .7 coils should read roughly .5 ohm. -
I see the price on these being more because it's a set & not one driver... The 6.5 & the neo 8 has the same motor if I was reading the first post rite. So if two neo 8"s are $200 + shipping. So take that price, add the price of what ever tweets & X-overs they use, adds 50 to 150 more. Plus SD prices are never packet (till the sa8"s & bstock form what i see)& shipping = 450-500 as a wost case. Why I say I would luv to see $150 or lower Where did you read anything about a set? This isn't the component set they are working on.. cause in a different topic it was said a sundown 6.5 would be part of a component set in the future but I could be wrong it's all up to sundown & it's crew... You are wrong my friend, this is a neo pro driver to be used in an active setup. Your referring to the 6.5" shallow component set which are still being tested, two different goals and drivers. well if I'm wrong oh well let's keep it move... This still gone be a $80-100 speaker. The only reason I leave that big of a jump in price is because the jump in price between the 8" & 10"s drivers..... Wonder will these come in sets? They will be sold like the others as in each!

thanks man didn't really think to look (I'm to impatient)

Very nice! Great buy here!

x2 Definitely not your standard off the shelf motors from SSA,IA,AA,Fi and Sundown I think AudioPhil better look at the off the shelf garbage he's promoting!
-
Here is a link to their specs which is all I can find on them. They were suggested by a member on another forum called AudioPhil who said that most SSA Sundown IA FI stuff is "off the shelf garbage" and that these at $180 each are in an entirely different class. I am a big SSA fan myself and was juct curious on others thoughts. EDIT Cant display link because it is on C. A. C. O. But if you do a search you will find the link. No offence but.... I have read his rants over there and he is just a hater! I stick to what's available widely and has garnered a positive reputation! SSA, AA, Fi, IA and Sundown!

Can't say that I have. Hell can't find a website! Got a link for them?

If that was all I needed to know I'd be set. That's what got me started really, and his DVD is what I was talking about buying. His website already has a bunch of good info, figured the DVD had to be worth the money. Figured you read through the website. The DVD would be a great start. Perry knows his shit and is more than happy to help.

I think you will be pleased with the IA 187.

Those DCONS are damn impressive for the price!

Damn that looks great!

In the middle of Corn Country the damn humidity is just brutal. Heat is ok but mix it with the humidity and it's misearble. Local area rancher lost over 600 head of cattle during the heat wave.
-
Have you heard the 187? Do you think it can cover a little of the midbass like I want? and also, does anyone have any idea of port/box size etc? I have had the LI and DR series from IA and they are very transient. I am a metal head so they fit my sq perfectly. Follow the IA box specs for the best results.

Sweet design!
