What year S-10? More than likely the throttle position sensor needs to be replaced.
-
Same post is in the Sundown section as well ....

5200 rated watts to (6) 600 watt rated subwoofers in 18ft^3+ is asking for trouble imo. Besides the the SA series require 3ft^3 per. Smaller for more power handling.

12.5-13ft^3 tuned to 35-38hz!

OUCH! The poor Yukon is starting to tap out man! -
12.5-13ft^3 would be a start and tuning at 35hz is a good choice.

Wouldn't want spying eyes from a competitor to do the direct copy cat thing! Won't name names .... That basket looks great and the finish really brings it out!

How to Figure Out Which Way to Fire Sub/Port

Larger poerted enclosures tend to be more efficient and require less power. Just the opposite on smaller ported enclosures. -

Sub up port back has been what most people will recommend. I would follow AA box specs. -
You might be right, but I will never put a ported setup in any of my rides. I just ordered a LI 12 that is going in a 1.39 cu box sealed , I hope it to perform as well or better than my current set up, I have been waiting a while and I am ready to get here! I also have 2 sets of the 6.5 comps and the 6.4 IA amp on the way I will post review when I get it all in Nice setup!

More than likely too deep. SD10 or 12 might also be an option though. -
Sundown is an American Based Company so his money stays in the good ol' USA!

Check the Sundown section

Imo they sound fine sealed but I think you would be better off running ported. You youngins like da' bass lol. -

This not an "SQ" build. Your asking for trouble stating it is an "SQ" build. Your basically looking for a good all around daily setup. If wanting an all Sundown system then the E8v.2 is what you will be wanting. They can go as small as .6ft^3 per sub ported tuned to 35hz. With your listening tastes and amplifier power I think this will be a great start. -
These are a very sturdy 500 watt rms driver. I would not hesitate to use a pair on an Sundown SAX-1200D amplifier or something similar in power output. They will use the same box sizes as the SA line.

Make sure your subs are not wired out of phase! Easy to do when wiring up that many woofers.

Nice review and good job following the giveaway rules.

A lot choices out there. Look for an OEM replacement or an AGM from XS, Kinetik, Odyessey, Deka etc.
