These would be the same series as the SA-12 which is a lower power sound quality subwoofer. Iirc these are in the 600 Watt RMS class.

Check out what Chris has at db-r electronics. He is an authorized Sundown Dealer and authorized repair shop. http://www.db-r.com/sell/store2/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=65_67_69 He has a refurb SAE-1000D for $250 similar to the new SAZ-1000D just different casing. -

Not sure about being made out of the same material. But I installed a pair of Second Skin D-flex pads in my doors and it made quite an improvement in my mid-bass.

Look into the SAX-50.4 from Sundown to run active! Great amp with a great crossover built in.

Go with 56in^2. You can always shorten the port if you don't like the sound.

What does the owners manual say? They designed the amp and wrote the manual. Go by the recommendations and your good to go! Be careful though Sknynet is watching! -

Ok here are pics of my 10" DCON that I won... :bigclap: . Also I will be posting my build log and review as I go. So here are the pics. Arrival: Open: Angle view due to glare Side view Another side shot Another And the @$$ shot And finally with the SSA Stickers... :clap: This speaker is built like a tank. Build quality is top notch and the attention to detail is flawless. I am hoping I can get started on the box's this weekend. I am going with 2 boxes. 1 sealed and the other ported to see what this thing can do and compare. The wife as expressed an interest in this sub, she would like it for her vehicle.
