What amp should I get.

Sundown - SAZ-2000D FTW! Second I would look into the Audioque over the Hifonics just for the customer service you would get from AQ over Hifonics. -
Also check for a loose panel while you have your subwoofer out. Also double check your settings to make sure your not sending it a clipped signal.

I totally agree!

http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/store/ Look under the subwoofers tab and purchase one from here or you can email Jacob and get one, it doesnt matter. X2..

They look to be a great deal! If it were me and I had the $, I would get them to play around with.

You may want to look at something in the 200amp range on your alt. Also I would really do the "big 3" first. Two different batteries won't hurt. Good Luck!

Nice woofer and box! -
Looks good! Keep up the good work!

The SSD will require a sealed or ported enclosure. If you want an infinte baffle set up you should have gone with the IB series from Fi.

Yea $200 for a pair of subs isn't much. I pretty much have my mind set on getting those. I checked out a bunch of subs and there's always something i dont like about them. From specs to looks there's really not much out there. I could get some kickers but damn everyone gets kicker. Now i just have to sell the Fi SSD 12 i have and get the PG's. I heard good highs before the Fi and i heard really good lows with the Fi so im curious how this is going to end up. Then i'll be set for a while and can save up for some real drivers . what dont you like about the SSD? X2

Best bet would be to email Jacob about the displacement, Xmax and recommended enclosure questions.
-
What's your budget and goals for your system?
-
Spend your money wisely and find somebody reputable that can build an enclosure to the speakers T/S parameters and get the most out your subwoofers.

Hope all is well!

You say cheap? You get what you pay for! -
Trial and error is the best way! I have found that 5/8" has worked the best as far as depth. Depending on radius of the port anywhere from 1/4" to 1/2" spacing. I'm no master by any means but it worked. I am using a 1 1/2" roundover bit currently. It works awesome and can take a good amount of material in one pass!
