RD Alpha v2 15 vs. new RE XXX 15
Kanaworm$ replied to nikesoccer275's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
The one you pick! Seriously with a question like that it is impossible to tell you! Do this....Buy both, test them, pick the one you like the best and sell the other one. Then give us your review and then we will all know! SPL and SQ are totally different. If you're looking for a good "daily" subwoofer then look through the SSA store, a lot of great products to chose from with great customer service from the owners of the products and the members here will be able to advise you better as well. Not trying to call you out, but lately there have been way to many "This vs. That" type of threads and it wears on people -

That is actaully a sample of our SPL tiles. http://www.secondskinaudio.com/products/cld-spl-vibration-damping-tiles.php ANT After I typed that I looked at it more and thought that's what it was.... -
Audio Art made great amps back in the 90's, as far as speakers i'm sure they're good as well. Before I buy I would ask to see pics of all products. $150 is not a bad price!

Install looks clean! Nice job!

Creating a New Box (Help Appreciated)
Kanaworm$ replied to amartin99999's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
If it were me I would go with the used Sundown SAZ-1500D and wire your woofer to two ohms. Run it this way for awhile and if you feel you want more, look into buying another SAZ-1500D and strap the two amps together. You will have plenty of headroom as long as your gains and SSF are set correctly. Also your going to have to make sure your box is correctly built and tuned to Fi specs to get the most out of the BTL. -
More pics, more pics

I use Titebond II, once set up your joint will not come apart. Plus I like the fact it cleans up easily and has no smell!

Best and easiest way to get 16v to amps daily?
Kanaworm$ replied to rickandleli's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Take a look at this ... http://store.hlabs.com/pk4/store.pl?view_product=38 match that with the ... XS Power D1600 and you have your "daily" setup while maintaining your factory electrical. Jacob from Sundown Audio runs(ran) this similar setup in his Jeep. -
