What batteries to go for?

Another quality option is Deka Intimidator if your on a tighter budget. Deka Intimidator Battery | East Penn AGM Batteries Or check out CarQuest if you have one close as they sell the same battery under the CarQuest name. http://www.carquest.com/batteries/pdf/CQ_NGT.pdf -
It is hooked up to my amp at .5 ohms. All pos to pos and all negs to negs the amp can handle it fine but im sure if I had 2 dual 2 ohm subs wired down 1ohm each then to .5 ohms both together it would prob be shutting off bc of all the resistance from both magnets. but one magnet does not create enough energy to hold back my bxi. I think I need to find me a better box. it is hella loud boud I am just trying to get a little bit more out of it.. you may email me if you want. I have a hard time on this site I could not hardly find my post again lol [email protected] That made no sense what-so-ever? Nice first post!

5-7 years is quite a long time for a battery. Not really sure how long they last! -
12" 09 BL causing dimming
Kanaworm$ replied to cockeyed00's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Sounds like your battery is wearing out. When you add the additional load of your system the battery does not have enough reserve to cover the additional load. Might be ok for stock electrical and starting but not enough to cover a 1 ohm load. Time for a new battery. -
Help choosing sub(s)/amp for new build

A couple other options would be the Sundown Zv.2 and the DR or DP series from Incriminator. -
Fi will take care of you! Good luck!

Then the deal is sealed, I'll be ordering ASAP. Thanks again! Nice purchase, but to bad you missed the SSA group buy!

Thanks man! There's two in there, their strobe lights wired together. One of them's blue and one's white. Got a vid i might upload so you can see Nice! Always like the plexi window to show off the motor and basket!

Never bought anything from them! Call them and ask, they supposedly have great customer service. -
Thoroughly read the instruction manual first! Amplifier Gains and Preouts - SSA Car Audio Forum How To: Set your Amplifier Gain - SSA Car Audio Forum Anatomy of the Power Amplifier, By Robert Zeff - SSA Car Audio Forum Just a few links to read over and hopefully give you a better idea on what to do and not to do. Ask all the questions you need as I would hate to see you ruin some great amplifiers.

All Sundown amplifiers are rated @ 12.8 volts DC. -

SAZ-1000D will be nicer to your non upgraded electrical. -

If you can fit the 1.25ft^3 and tuning around the 33hz you will need a 3" aero with a length of 12.8". I would recommend a pair of dual 4 ohm and wire the coils in parallel to 2 ohms and then the pair of woofers in series to get a 4 ohm load. Your amplifier power at 4 ohms will be a nice combo with a pair of DCON's.
