Try doing some kicks or q-forms for the front.

Welcome ....

Who is Wayne? Yes sir but I highly doubt they do Wayne Harris is the man that created the Term Lab!
-
I was thinking the same! They are a lowpoweredsoundqualityhighoutputeconomical driver!
-
I personally prefer nothing for rear speakers. Why not put the ID 6.5 up front?
-
Term-Lab prices may need to drop to be a little more competitive.
-
Take the total speaker displacement and subtract that from your 8ft^3 and it should be ok.

Loud and clean and SQL does not describe sound quality. You have a quality subwoofer why not look into rebuilding a new enclosure to maximize the RE-SX. -
Never Competed but thought about it? I welcome you to!

We have MidWest SPL around this area, which seems to be a decent organization. I guess I was more or less talking about something close, twin cities area. Everything near me is quite a drive. Any quality dealers in the area that are willing to get some competitions going? Everything in South Dakota is 100 mile drive to a comp ... I honestly have no idea. But if there were I'm sure it'd be listed on minnesota's loudest's forum. Most of the stuff they go to, which has been listed here in some thread, is a decent drive north. I saw the post for the MW SPL shows up in the Brainerd area, that is a drive from the metro area. -
Ahh the output and power of the all mighty XCON!

Only way to really tell is to test to see what direction sounds louder to you.

Gotta love the reaction vids! Nice job ... SSA FTW!

Either (1) 4 channel or (2) 2 channel amps.
-
Not a problem as long as the OEM head unit has a speaker level to line level (RCA) converter. Or your amp's have speaker level inputs.
-
Passive = A designed crossover network utilizing coils, caps and resisitors. Active = Electronicaly crossed over utilizing head unit, amplifier or other processor.

Your in luck the SSA store just picked up the Bravox line of loudspeakers. Check out the link and see what you think. Bravox Audio Products - SSA STORE

I have heard a pair of the UXP 10D and they were some very nice sounding "SQ" subwoofers. I wish I had a need for new comps, but the lil' wife would kill me ....
