Doesn't account for woofer displacement or bracing! One thing I don't like is the fact when you widen the port the further it brings it away from the back wall.

I swear I posted this in thumppers section.... May want to PM or email him! I know he posted good thing about them. It's out of my price range anyways. I'll be sticken with the SAZ-1500.1 Good Choice! -
Don't use that RE Box calc! That is a piece of crap imo! Try this instead .... PORT Size Calculations and Formulas for WOOFER and Subwoofer BOXES

PORT Size Calculations and Formulas for WOOFER and Subwoofer BOXES PORT DESIGN FORMULAs for SUB WOOFER ENCLOSUREs Some good reading on the second link. Good luck!

We will need box dimensions for a slot port or you can go Precision Port (Aero).

Bracing will help take up internal volume, but will end up tuning your enclosure a higher.
-
You look to be a little large on your enclosure and tuning is in the 36-37 hz range. I have no idea what you have for bracing. With no bracing at 2.5ft^3 and tuned to 35hz you will need a total port length of 37".
-
What did you calculate for a tuning frequency?

Great reviews! Just love the look of the cones on these subwoofers!

Difference between kinetic racing and regular kinetic batteries
Kanaworm$ replied to hondakilla98's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Local Kinetik dealer has the Red Racing Series in there Demo vehicle and they say no difference except for the color. -
You're actually fusing the current capacity of the wire. The fuse at the front is going to protect the rest of your vehicle from burning up if the battery cable suffers a short due to accident or other. $20 shipped with a 250 amp fuse is a good price. Ask if you can get a 300 amp fuse instead for the 0 gauge. Make sure you have done the "Big 3" as well.

Do the BIG 3! And quit yelling, were not deaf .... (Turn Caps Lock Off)

Ok hoser! You mad eh? C'mon rinse the sand out of your vag MacGyver!

You will need roughly 72in^2 of port!

Buy the one that fits your budget! -
The cut sheet is nice! I like to use graph paper and draw out my enclosure. Time is tedious but when you work the nightshift like I do part-time, it passes the time.
-
I have never liked that program! I agree with ///M5 and do it by hand. I have gotten better results by doing it by hand and with WinISD Pro. I mainly use that for port velocity, graph and port length.

Progress looks great!

How can pcb's in amps handle so much current?
Kanaworm$ replied to ssh's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
He meant copper traces! Sundown and other quality non mainstream companies utilize double sided circuit boards or through hole mounting along with SMT (Surface Mount Technology). Jake can answer this alot better than I can or maybe Chris from db-R can offer some insight! -
