Sundown is coming out with the new SAX line geared for more daily systems. Might get the line moving for you. Check with Jake about becoming a rep in your area.

The Focal Access line is not that bad imo. Local dealer in town here sell the most of that line.

Best advice would to drive around to the most stereo shops in your area and listen. Hard for anybody to tell what is the best since each person has their own taste on what they like. The Phoenix Gold RSD series are a nice comp set for the money. I have heard these and they are good for a budget build.

Ditch the idea of rear speakers. Concentrate on the front stage! If you want to keep the rears wire them to the rear speaker outs and that way you can fade to the front more so the rears are just barely audible.

Sounds like a great little setup! Give us some max dimensions and we can come up with some designs for you.!

Could be the angle or the lighting. But generally aluminum coils are darker than copper. But that looks really dark!

Coming from someone on Team Sundown! I am just tell the truth, am I not? Being on a manufacturer team your suppose to advertise and get the word out about the quality of the product! Not persuade someonet to look at another manufacturer. If someone can't afford it, how am I supposed to sell it to them. Offer a Finance plan? lol Of course .... This thing is getting so off topic for the Op! OP .... I can give you the Sundown sales pitch but if it doesn't fit the budget look to the next best thing ... Refurbs from db-R .... Refurbished SAZ-1000D : dB-r Electronics, Online Store ....
