How many cubic feet of airspace is your box? Port width and height?
-
The 18" BTL displaces almost .35 cubic feet

BP and Conoco pulled out of South Dakota about 3 years ago due to the states use of Ethanol. I would boycott BP right now if they were still around.

what size 4 channel do i need?
Kanaworm$ replied to pimppistol's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
A quality 4 channel in the range of 75-100 watts per channel. Headroom is always a plus! A budget would be beneficial as we could recommend something within your budget! -
Step up to the DR series or even a pair of LI's. I had a pair of LI 15's on a SAZ-1500D and they are amazing subwoofers. Loud, low and remain musical! Stay withing IA specs on the box and properly set up your amplifier and you should be more than happy!
-
Go with the LI 15! Cone area is your friend!
-
Toss a coin! I had the LI 15 and it got loud and maintained good sq imo. But that was in ported. SSD is a great woofer as well but I have only heard them in ported boxes.

Nice start! Looking forward to more pics!

WOW! great news! I love the addition! -
Watch your gain and ssf or your going to be ready for new woofers!
-
Those were a great woofer with great sound quality and output. Going to be harder to find now that they are out of business.

Vehicle, existing equipment, budget and overall goals?

LI-12 or SA-12? which one better for me?
Kanaworm$ replied to Tony Nelson's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
If you want T/S specs for the LI email Nick at Incriminator Audio. As far as which subwoofer will give you the most in a sealed box? I would have to say SSA DCON, ICON or XCON! -
Racking your brain on trying to fit 2 21" subs without removing the back seat? Easy man, just give them to me and buy some smaller subwoofers. Only way to fit those monsters is to remove the back seat and hope the hell you still have enough airspace to build a proper enclosure for them. If not sell and downsize!

Local DD dealers in town here swear by him! If your looking for tenths on the meter, yes go with his designs but as far as I'm concerned the designers and fabricators here can do just as good a job!

If your looking at the Havocs, you may want to look into the XCONS here .... http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/index.php/product-information/xcon.html I hear they are pretty good ....

x2 on the SSD! The SSD is a great all around daily ground pounder designed driver. The Q is a sound quality driver and not designed to get loud.

Sound Quest by Stinger
Kanaworm$ replied to Cant Get Enough's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Soundquest is the budget line....The jacket is thicker, not tinned, and their seems to be less strands compared to Stinger Pro and HPM. -
Recommended: 28 liters of 1 x 3 "x 33 cm port It's Norwegian and hard to translate!
