Very nice selection of gear to get started! Keep up with the pics!

Time Alignment and Bandpass when going Active

The Sundown SAX-100.4D is a great amplifier for the money with a 2 way electronic crossover network along with line outs. 12 or 24db per octave selectable slopes, variable frequency adjustment, x10 switch to multiply the frequency higher to run tweeters. Sundown Audio - SAX-100.4D A little out of your price range. -
Time Alignment and Bandpass when going Active
Kanaworm$ replied to wutang512's topic in General Audio
Bandpass can actually be accomplished with a 2 channel with variable low pass and a SSF. But that also depends on whether you are running a 3 way active front stage. But a 4 channel can be used for a 2 way active system. -

What are your goals? SPL competition? Or an absurdly loud system for driving around in? -

Brad or Sean better handle this one! They are way better explaining the technical side of these subjects. -

Make sure you have the electrical! -
Does each subwoofer dramatically change from the next when they build them? Would SSA's woofers change then from every one built? I am going to follow their box recommendations, it would just be nice to have specs for future reference thats all. I guess I'm just gonna have to buy a WT3 That's a good question for the IA guys to answer!

I didn't account for the port in the box! I added that last and was way off! Thx for the clarification!

LOL! Oh man that is small! About the only think you may find external is from Sub-Sonic Filters

Forgot about ROE! Might have to go check it out. -
Due to the custom built designs of IA woofers, it's best to follow their recommendations Incriminator Audio: No Chrome, No Carbon Fiber, No BS! Period All IA woofers are packaged with box recommendations but no T/S specs.

x2 on the low tuning ported enclosure!

Welcome ....

Funny thing is the Alpine/RF dealer here is not into building custom enclosures. Would rather get the sale and sell the woofer in a generic enclosure. Actually the Type R is not a bad woofer. Just not good in a pre-fab.

Nice looking lineup!
