How about a little history lesson on Blues? How did they start? Who was involved? What happened to the line when SoundQuest (Way before AAMP/Stinger) bought them out? When they decided to bring the Blues lineup back? I am very interested as I always liked the brand when I was a kid back in the 90's. P.S. Let's get Ray on here to spill the beans on Blues and Linear Power.

With that new look DP motor, that is the only way to mount that monster!

The Nightshade is built for SPL and depending on your enclosure there should be no reason they won't be louder! Your vehicle makes a difference as well.

That jig has me thinking of talking to my machinest friend! Some scrap bar stock and a CNC lathe = cheap flare jig!
-
Nice! That Z looks very impressive and makes the SS SPLX look small! Sundown ftw! I like his port flare jig!

Wow great opportunity!

Ya I chose the wall location judging by the side door and a roof support...are you saying it's further back then I maybe should have done it? It's my first wall. The speakers up top are freakin AWESOME. I caught a lot of shit from a few SQ buddies of mine, but I think I can safely say I proved them wrong. It's not like a PA system in a grocierie store, in fact I think it sounds better up there...sounds like it's coming from strait ahead. There is a bit of flex, but for the output... it's well damped. Once I get it finished I may get into competing and replace the IB3's with 06' XXX 18's... if I tour, I could make it a point to detour for demos! Take the idea and run with it! It works great. I never understood the competative hush-hush secrecy if tips and tricks. IMHO, we should all share and help eachother out, not keep our ideas secret to win. where u at in this god forsaken state? I'd like to see your setup as well! I'm in Watertown! Straight north on I-29! I'll make my way up there one of these days.. you got a shop? You an RE/USAmps dealer or have one there? I think that's in Brookings tho... No shop but I am friends with the guys at the two local shops. I rep Sundown Audio. Watertown has RF/Alpine at Team Electronics and Synergy Audio has Sundown/DD/Memphis/Focal -
That ish is just plain impressive with a 600 watt rms stock subwoofer! Sundown Audio FTMFW!

A full recone is needed for that beast! Either fixmyspeaker.com or Pierce Audio Products should be able to recone that for you. -
Sounds like spam for the listed site above!

AudioQue is an American company with amplifiers made in Korea and Subs in China! IA and Sundown for great amplifiers and CS. AQ and Crecsendo are ok. Go with what fits your budget! I run and own IA and Sundown products so i'm very partial!
