Lots of smack coming from someone with nothing to show! I'm not allowed to have an opinion? Honestly? It's an Eclipse, for a teenage guy. It fits perfectly. Still ricey, though Oem lip kit, some suspension, and some low offset wheels would make that eclipse look amazing. If this is gonna be a show car, OP should know what's in and whats out in the import world. You can have your opinion but until you can show that you can do better or have something better then .... This is a father son project with a lot of hard work and hours put into a project that will last a lifetime. We all could only wish we could have an oppurtunity like this!

I would email Nick at IA to find out for sure.

I think the vehicle makes a difference when it comes to the full port width away from the back of the vehicle.

The CLD panels will help in adding mass to the surface, not sure it will completely eliminate the flex. Don from SDS recommened that I get some aluminum and glue them to the surface of the back wall of my truck to help with flex. -
Mmmmmm Sundown ftw!

Nice saw! I have always had good luck with Ryobi!

DCON ftw! Too bad it took another box to get it to sound good! Fire that box builder!

Nice subwoofers! I prefer a tuning of 35-40 hz. I listen to mostly metal and progressive.

More info please! SPL or Daily?

They are a great woofer, I had a pair of 15" LI series on a Sundown SAZ-1500D and they sounded great and got more than loud enough. Install is going to be the main factor in making a woofer sound loud and remain musical. Make sure to have the electrical to power the amplifier and make sure to set up the amplifier correctly (eg.) correctly set gain and SSF and no bass boost.
-
Why? Do you have one already? I would recommend moving up to the DR series.
-
I know Nick at IA has been sick for awhile and sure this has a lot to do with the delay. But be as patient as possible. You will love the DR series.
-
Depending on the amplifier power, you may also want to look into the SSD series and get it loaded with cooling and flatwound. Will be seriously loud, low and still remain very musical!
-
Is your amp's hi or low setting fixed at certain frequency or is it variable?

Great progress!
