That was completely the opposite of what I experienced. Every pioneer i've ever had was noisy as all hell. Don't get me started on the Pico-Fuse problem...

Since the amp has a button called true mono, i wouldn't bridged the amplifier. What this button does is turn the entire amplifier into a mono block amplifier. Now to does this all you have to do is wire your sub to 4 ohm and on the amplifier press down the true mono button. (press the button before you turn on the vehicle, if you don't you will not be able to push the button while the vehicleis running.) When you wire the sub to the amp you only put the wires in the left channel. The right channel should have no wires in it. Also you would only need to have 1 rca end plug into the left channel, but it won't hurt to have both rcas connected though. Which would be better cause then you won't have an rca end hanging there that could cause interfence. In this mode the amp would put out 240watts. PS. If you ever want to sell it let me know cause i love these esx amplifiers. ok heres another question,,,the amp does 240 watts bridged at 4 ohms and 230 watts bridged/true mono at 1 ohm...............so i would have to wire my sub for 1 ohm for true mono,,,or just leave it at 4ohm and just select the bridged button on the amp? Im sorry i quickly read my book before i posted and i messed up about the 4ohm load. If you use the 4ohm load you select the sync bridging button, and if you want to use a 1ohm load then you use the true mono button. But using the 4ohm load you will have less stress on the amplifier. am i safe using 8 gauge power wire for this amp? If the run is short, 8 guage should be ok. By short, I mean less than 12 feet of wire. Otherwise, I would step up to 4 guage just to be safe.

The Eros VIII was the one that was stable to 2ohm bridged. http://ampguts.realmofexcursion.com/Hifonics_Eros_VIII/

Zed himself says the Burr brown difference is very minor. This is why it was an option with these amps, and not standard. Zed was not sure it was worth the $50 or so extra, so he made it optional for those who wanted the very best.

I'd love to see how he could better a USA series amp...

ESX and ZED branded Zed amp pic's. Who has some clean ones?

My USA series Zed's. The grey ones are about to be for sale. The chrome ones i'm on the fence about. The Cadence A5000+ and Earthquakes (not zeds) are about to be for sale too. -
Looks like some updates on www.zedaudiocorp.com 6 channel can be 2 way active and sub, all in one amp. 150x6 as previously discussed. and then a 250x2 or 1000x1 amp.

I was going to suggest filling the walls with sand, but I think the weight and teardown aspect would make this too much of a mess.

Sounds like someone wants to try to Trump me on the Zed's... keep in mind, that pic isn't all of them. Some are installed in my car's, and a bunch are still in the closet. -
150x6? I'll be buying one of those...
-
I've seen pics like this of other brands being collected... anyone have some Zed pic's to share?

The broader audience wants either 150x4 or a 75x2+200x2 staggard.

What else can you tell me about the 12" SQ woofer prototype? I'm interested. -
Being that the Draconia was $370 and 70x4, i'd guess that a 100x4 amp wouldn't be more than $500, possibly less. Definately take Denim's advice and don't jump to conclusions. Avoid:
