I try to go with a stretcher material but this is all walls work had that was lightweight n stretched. I have worked with it before but your right it soaks up resin. I have to open up the speaker rings and coat the inside as well just as a precaution I take it as a good thing?

Just wanted to say what's up. Im currently driving a 06 gmc envoy. So far audio wise I have a Jensen flip out (came with the truck....hate it) sub is a 10" ssa gcon in a custom fiberglass box built by me and the sub is powered by a ppi black ice 1300.1 door speakers are factory. Nothing to exciting. Im also working on my wife's xterra which is/will get a full audio revamp.... in the process of building a fiberglass enclosure for two 12" aq sdc2.5 for the sub stage powered by a mb quart onyx 1500.1 and the front doors will get 6.5" cadence comp and rear will get a set of cadence coax powered by a mb quart onyx 80.4...... nothing to crazy either....be more show than anything

I went with the duralast gold series for both my trucks. I use to run the optima red tops but the duralast gold had better CCAs than the red top and better reserve minutes as well. lets see for the xterra the duralast gold does 750 cca's compared to 720 cca's on the red top optima and the reserved minutes is 130 compared to the 90 on the red top. also with the xterra I don't have the big 3 or upgraded alt just the gold series battery and when there was bass in there the truck didn't drop below 14v. with the next system that's in the works I plan on upgrading the wiring from 4 to 0 gauage and do the big 3 and see what happens to the volts. -
i have forsale a 10" ssa gcon d2 sub for sale. i really enjoy this sub but the box i built, the sub does not like it so it(sits in the box not being used) puts me in the spot of new box design with this sub or new box with a new sub choice and im leaning towards new sub choice....step up to a 12" instead of a 10". this sub is a little beast.....well built.....well design....got plenty of punch. so you are probably wondering price.... well the price is 170 shipped. yep thats right, shipping is on me to anywhere in the US. here is a pic(i know i know its not a new pick with todays date..... i will get one tonight with the date and ssa.com written on it plus my sn) im sure some are like why get rid of it.......well im just throwing it up to see if anyone is interested since i really want to step up to a 12". like i said if it doesnt sell then i use it for the new build. thanks for your time and consideration in advance.
