LOL...... My problem is internet time is supposed to be actual work time, so I have to look busy and get chit done still. But if we're sitting in a meeting, you just sit there and listen to everyone babble on about something you know nobody in the room is actually interested in.

I always liked meetings.....keeps you from having to do actual work......

My plans are pretty simple. Right now only really planning in a 2-3cuft sealed enclosure. If I get creative I may fab up a box that's, say, 5cuft gross with an adjustable inner wall so the final net volume can be adjusted at will.....guess it depends on how much time I have on my hands. Also going to be powering it initially with my SS Rubicon 702....which is capable of giving 800-900w @ 2-4ohm bridged. Wanted to test 'er out in a relatively low power application see how she does. Also have access to a larger amp if necessary though.

Well.....for some reason SS's drivers have a tendancy to perform contrary to the T/S parameter modeling. Couldn't tell you why, not sure that I really care. Rl-p for example; model it up in a program and it'll give you something ridiculous like .55cuft w/ an F3 of 101hz for an "optimal" sealed box. Likewise, going by T/S params, it should perform pretty poorly in a sealed box. When in reality they perform pretty darn remarkably in a 1.25-1.5cuft sealed enclosure. Maybe because of wide variances in Qts and Vas between small and large signal inputs...I dunno. But what it has taught me is that some cases require actual use to determine performance rather than relying on paper numbers My $.02
