Sound deadening is the bane of my existance. There's not much that I simply, flat out don't enjoy doing in this hobby. But sound deadening is #1 on that list.

Hey...for being 2yrs old it's pretty good that he can actually draw stick people. Considering that's all the better myself or the wifey can do aswell

I think my son is an art prodigy. You won't spot him around the house without a pen/pencil/crayon/marker in hand, typically with a pad of paper near by. He's 2 years old, can draw a near perfect circle, color well within the lines and actually fill in the entire object rather than the "few scribble lines" like most kids do. And his stick people actually look like stick people.

BL, from a consumer standpoint, is pretty meaningless. As long as it has enough BL for the subwoofer's design, that's all that matters. And I would hope that any subwoofer that made it to market had enough thought put into it's design that we can assume the BL is adequate for the design.

Though not pretty, the more I gander at those RS amplifiers the slightly less ugly they become. -
New PPI

It would be strikingly similar to an Rl-p

For marketing, nothing more. It plays absolutely no role in excursion.

Still not the best lookin' amp ever made...but much better than what they had been offering as far as looks are concerned. -
Yeah...all in all I think the $350 for the licenses is atleast worth it, even if this job don't work out.
-
So....whatcha think the chances are of them actually responding to this thread again ?

Isn't the e12A basically a TC9 with a flat cone ? If so you could just have TC recone it with a "regular" cone, and have essentially the same performance.
-
Yes, the company sells annuities, so that licensing would be included I do believe

$350 to obtain all of the necessary licensing. Which, even if this job doesn't work out and I go back into my current career in the banking industry, those insurance licenses will actually work to my benefit since more and more banks are wanting to fill certain positions with people who are licensed for insurance. So, just having those licenses would increase my potential job availability in the field I'm currently working in.

Last post for the night. After scouring(sp?) that website for the past hour, it appears to be a toss up. Seems that most people fail within the first year....but if you stick around and can stick it out, six-figure income within 3 years is a real possibility.
-
Teehee....and then I also find horribly disappointing comments such as; "On the flip side, if you have the right stuff, and can handle the pressure you can make alot of money.(I did) Just remember that most new people will work for a year and barely make anything. Its a brutal reality you should be aware of. Regardless what they tell you, you are not expected to succeed."

Well, I was screwing around on google trying to find some more info. Found an online long-term-care forum with some discussions about Bankers. Some of it looks encouraging....like this; "They [bankers L&C] are a great company and most agents that get through their first year (the toughest!) usually go on to make a six-figure income by the third year in the business. You really should have hung in there a little longer. "

Sort of a shame....IIRC those TC7 are what the Eclipse Alums are based off of...and those are darn good woofers aswell Any plans to expand the line in the future, or ya stickin' with 3 for a while longer ? Just curious.

I'm actually very interested in these, and patiently awaiting their arrival to the market. Not near as "beastly" as the Rl-s (it's simply way more than I'd ever need), and hopefully therefore at a lower price point.

Well, I seriously think I might take it, just to see. I'd rather take the job and have it suck horribly and not make any money, than not take it and always wonder if it was exactly what I was looking for in terms of flexibility, pay and job satisfaction.

Processor/EQ
Impious replied to Jester1318's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Not sure what you mean? The only PXA series they presently offer is the H701. Unless you mean compared to the older H700? In which case, yes, the H700 would be exactly the same. Only differences are that the controller is included with the H700, and I believe the color for the controller is grean instead of blue. -
