The "X"con 12" prototype has arrived

Yep -
They're not out yet, but as soon as they are released(which shouldnt be long) it will be shipped to you immediately. And it will be worth the wait. With a D1 sub youll only be able to wire it at 2ohms. So you wont get 3500, but since its underrated youll probably get close to 2000 or even more with it wired to 2ohms.(with proper electrical)
-
You wont regret it
-
If you have enough space to make a proper enclosure, then id choose the 12's

Yep thats exactly what i was thinking. I beleive he designed the XXX also.

You have me confused here, do you want strictly spl or a good daily driver that still can put up some pretty good numbers?
-
How much are you wanting to spend?
-
1 300amp and those 3 kinetiks should be good, but if you have money to spend then you could go for a dual 300amp alt setup Always good for future upgrades.
-
Like i said, if you know what your doing it should be fine 6.3cubes a peice should be good.
-
Mhm, thats all i can go by seeing as I have no personal experience with both woofer's. Me as well Rob, just saying. Ye i wasn't bein an ass I made sure to mention on my first post that i was basing it on t/s parameters.
-
IF you know what your'e doing, and if it has a proper enclosure then it will handle that fine.

Yes thats what I plan on using the RD for daily and how much louder will it be by db? Couldnt say, but it look's like the RD is more for a spl/burp scenario.
-
Looking at the t/s parameters, yes. And it will also be alot better for a daily application.
