Cheers.

Cool thanks buddy! i see now!, so i'd say it's possible to set the gain by ear? when you think and like the volume you get for the volume the HU is saying. if you get me. without setting the gain immensly high and saying wow look at my 1 volume! and get a nice range through out your range! if i was to find HU i like would someone be able to tell me a rough gain i need to set? as i maybe won't be able to tell what the volume range of the sub is :S

Sorry to break up your CONVO! lol but the 1200d can not be distributed to UK, so i've been offered a 1500d which i am willing to take! Couple of Questions. what wire best to run this amp 0? and when you talk about gain on these amps, does gain work like this? you have a 1000 watt amp with a 500 watt sub, so in theory you set the gain at 50% to set the amp to give out half it's potential. Or is it totally different! sorry i have no exp! Get back to me Pez As im getting the 1500d now. i may as well run the AA Havoc, would you say so?
-
Are they making a new line of Fi Subs? :S "D
-

Sorry sorted it, Going to be 20 inch L, 20 inch W, 13 inch D, using 3/4" MDF, which gives the box 2.08^3 if you ask me Don't tune a sealed box do you?
-
Sorry the box is going to be sealed, so it doesn't need tuning right ? Hmm the sealed calculator gives a different answer :S Do i go by the calc! or the some: Height x Width x Depth / 1728 = Box volume in Cubic Feet? just in case the calculator is wrong
-
OK dudes! im going to build my own box, should be easy as im an apprentice Joiner 8] if i build out of MDF 20" length 20" width and 11" depth, made of 3/4" MDF the internal measurements should be 18.5", 18.5", 11" So! 18.5 x 18.5 x 11 = 3764.75 / 1728 = 2.17 Cubic feet. The sub takes up 0.19 Cubic Foot which leaves it at 1.98 Cubic foot? Can someone please check this over? my first go and hope to build on friday! thanks alot, i can get more info if needed

Can some body help me! my forum settings have become messed i think. but i can't seem to get them back. All posts seem to be coming up in a box underneath the first post! and they are kind of like links, which makes it very annoying to look at posts and new ones! how do i stop this and get it back to normal, where all posts just show up i havnt been messing with settings it just seems to of came up like this pez
-
Ok 8], it sounds harder to me! Saved me a bit of money on the amp tho, Erm could anyone just tell me if these amps come with wiring? and any news on rear speakers
-
Sorry Double. But anyway, dont worry about budget just not anything to crazy
-
"D Bumpy! That work well with SAX 100.2 i realise these are more to personal preferences, but still.!
-
Thanks alot mate! great help, you've pushed to comps now lol! do you recommend any? or have experience with
-
So setting "crossovers" is it? where you set the hz each speaker receives, should be pre set? if so thats alot easier for me! tweeter and mid woofer?
-
Nah i want to get sealed with a Q, my friend has a 15" JL audio (500 Watts) and that got loud enough (sealed) So 1000 Q should be fine thanks, dont wanna waste room on ported, clean sealed will do. I don't understand about rear speakers, surely they are going improve the system!? even cheap ones. (people in the back will only hear bass?) i'll look into deadening. is it easy to set up passive? active just seems simple
-
LOL! do you want pics of my willy next to the cable aswell ? yeh im still deciding on passive or active, i realize the differences, active will sound better, use 2 channels where as passive will sound worse (than active) and use 4 channels, so i would save 120 pound on the amp. but it's just more difficult to install. being a noob begginer. i've heard hybrid audio is good! Would you recommend a mid bass and tweeter per front door? setting up the crossovers, this hard?
