amp draw/electrical

Hi, I am not a "power ranger" or any thing but I can tell you that you are pretty much spot on. He should be ok if you were to run a single BL. they say 3000 RMS for a pair will work well. Well if from what I have learned on here you will need at least a 150+ amp alt and a good battery or two to run those things nicely. better start saving any one feel free to correct me if I am wrong -
hope this helps http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/i...showtopic=20736

my bet; will be not much due to thermal rise and you can say bye-bye to your warrenty

ok guys no one that i know of do a H/O alt for my ride. im willing to buy a spare OEM if someone can Mod it for me. and not just not some cow boy style work either... problem is i live on the other side of the globe but I will do registered post. one guy i know managed to ge ta 200 alt amp from the US(in oem housing) but if he knows anything he aint sharing. model lancer GLX 1,6 manufactured 2007 colour black cos it gives you 5 extra BHP thx please please please help.. as far as i know powerpaster is not willing to do this for some reason. -
For a amp im running a lanzar opti drive and imao so far so good for very little money but if you can stretch it go with a sundown maybe 1000 will work good for you. they come with a good warrenty and if you buy from them again you get even better discount. Amps will last a long time if you take good care of them so its better to invest in something worth while and never look back...but then again if this is like a hobby for you like it is for many people ur bum will get itchy and no matter what you choose you will always want to change just for the sake of changing

ya I heard about these batcap things. So how much will this 8400 cost me and how long will it run a saz-3000 D for before it needs recharging? I only use my system for 1/2 hour to work and again when a I go back. and of course the occasional show off. How much do they weight when we talk about kilograms? most likekly will have to ship it here. How long does charging take and what is output voltage.. if i run it independant from the rest of the install 16 V should be fun.. but as with all things in life money might be a limiting factor. -
I suppose if he add a strut in there and cover up with the paint i dont see why it would fail. cars now-a-day are made out of tin can anyway

ok so the lets for get about my front stage amp for a min. saz 3000 d need a 300 amp fuze so ill only be using 2000RMS so lets just say that give me around 200 amp devide by 2 will give me a 100 amp. alt required. here i am with a stock alt of 85 amps add two big'ish deepcycle batts; will this put me close to where I want to be? i was told i can get a 110 oem alt from some shop but the little extra power might not be worth the money or effort. currently i am using a opti 2000 D that is said to be able to do 2000 RMS into 0.5 ohm currently im driving it to around 1200 RMS ish into 2 ohms without any problem(stock every thing exept power cable). will be doing the big 2 2morrow. the plan is to get whatever i get to drive two fi BL's what you think bro? once again any advice would be greatly appreciated. -
im sure if you get the 3000 or another 1500 either way you will be fine but the bl would like the extra power. both the bl and the Q can make plenty of noise from what i have heard

hey bro you work for powermaster? if so maybe i can get a wire diagram and some pics of the standard bracket for my installer. should the bracket be my only concern or is the wires a lot diff dependant on the model? the bracket im using is the same as most japanese brands with the two arms coming out unlike the one solid piece that the european cars use. space wouldnt be a problem how many amp alt would you recommend..wil be pushing a saz 3000 d with two deepcycle batts the batts need to be baught still so what kind of aH should I try and get? I want to get two of the same..I.E. one need to fit under the hood of a lancer GLX 1.6 are there any risk of frying my car computer(new car so will feel pain) thanks again. -
which amp would be best suited for my subs
Punkeyboozter replied to hardknocks's topic in Sundown Audio
the price can be found on the website, perhaps you can pick up a few nightshades while you are at it -

Hi Guys, As some of you might know im planning to get a saz 3000 D when my ship come in. I am also planning to get a eclipse 7200 due to some pretty fancy features. Problem is that it said to put out 8v on paper while the saz is said to except 6 V on paper. Sure I believe the specs of the Saz more but and sure the eclipse dont put the 8 v all the time if ever, but will these two pair up nicely and if not what will happen. thx again.

Hi i know this is perhaps a little off topic but was thinking when you use fibreglass or carbon fibre as detailing on a box(around the port area and front pannel) will this stick to the wood or will this cause some nasty rattle or something? if this is possible what would be the trick behind it? thx
-
thx guys small project scheduled for Dec. this year will give it a shot. but first I need to build the box and see how it sound. thx again btw i build a canoe with my dad once out of a mould; neetless to say it was a bit leakey but this time im older and wiser.

thx considder it sold btw does it matter what freq the sine wave is when i do the mutilmeter test on the rca'outputs? Just make sure it is not in the crossover range so its not being cut out. Around 40-45 Hz should be a safe bet. jolly good, promise last question hehe I take it one pin of the multi meter in the hole and the other on the sleave(outer part of the connector) of the RCA?
