....wow looks like a small explosion through the cone heh

XCON can handle the most power. The XCON is beefier than the ICON capable of handling more power while still sounding great, and is 1700w rms. DCON is a lower power sub which excels in small to medium sized sealed and ported enclosures, you could say the DCON is more SQ geared and 300w rms. ICON is the middle ground and original SSA sub which is a very versatile subwoofer. 2 ICONs would be a good match for a 1500D as they are 1000w rms but perform well with what the 1500D would provide for two. This is just what I have gathered from the main page/information on the subs, and forum information. Feel free to correct me just throwing out my 2 cents. Personally I am going to get an XCON but I could see myself being more than happy with an ICON as well.

Depends if he is buying new. I just got a deal I could not turn down on a 1500D for almost half the cost of the 2000D.
-
Last I heard from Jacob he had 3 SAE-1000Ds left, each at $225. Good deal, definitely look into getting one from him if you need another, includes warranty I believe.

Dang I want these to get out on the market, need to see some reviews. 1500D should be perfect for one.

You could get 20 ft of 1/0 from their eBay store for $43. http://cgi.ebay.com/KnuKonceptz-Metallic-B...1742.m153.l1262 That wire you linked to is more flexible but shouldn't matter too much. Although I'm not sure if OFC wire is significantly better than CCA wire.

I've heard Dekas edge out the yellowtops as they last longer and are a better value. -
Thanks man, pretty informative and everything to it. Are those wires solder to the ring terminals on the box or crimped on?

Thanks, appreciate the timely response.

Not trying to jack the thread I just have a question. I have a 94 LeSabre, 105 amp alt. Everstart battery under the hood at 12.8 v not sure of specs. Will be getting an XCON and SAZ-2000D most likely with a SAX-100.2, big 3 and 1/0 all around. I'm not sure about getting a H/O alt since I'm not sure how long I will have the car. Would it be sufficient to get one HC2400, someone local is selling one for 200 it rests at 12.6 and he's had it a year, not pushed hard/drained. Any suggestions? -
WOW incredible, whats the specs on this baby

I was thinking the site was down because it was being revamped for the XCON....hmmm one can wish haha it made sense since the pictures were possibly going to be up on Friday. But yes it was quite boring without SSA during the downtime.

No they are 1 ohm stable. Not sure about .5 ohm I know the SAZ line is just they aren't warrantied down to .5 ohm. It would be a good match for the Fi BL, but this thing puts out about 1500w so as long as the BL can take that, otherwise be conservative with the gain. Any ohm load below 1 ohm voids warranty. I know but they are capable of being ran at .5 no problem, use to be warrantied at .5 too I believe.
