it takes folks like you and me....

I've got friends who are gunsmiths and build match rifles and pistols so I'm set on getting them built for me, plus I like guns that do what I want them to do, and I normally can't find anything cheap that does what I want to do... Plus I want a setup to engage anything I want past 1,000yrds. my experience level with rifles is uhhhhh iron sights i know a .308 is pretty effective past 400yards and i don't even know where i'd find that kind of distance for practice. but yeah, having things built for you > buying prefab. you lucky gun, you!

lol you have expensive taste! the m77 hawkeye's are like $500 and they are supposed to be accurate and reliable, .308 is the logical choice for me because you can reach out pretty far with good stopping power and the ammo is dirt cheap because it's a standard nato round. i'm trying to get out the door for under $750

i'd really like the stainless ruger p345 .45auto to go with my revolver too but i think a rifle and scope will tap my firearm budget for the time being..
-
yeah, the pistol range has some of those spinning metal targets @ 50y too. rifle range to 200. i'm going to get a ruger m77 hawkeye in .308 and a nikon prostaff for xmas to go with my rem. 870 12ga and ruger gp-141 .357

i'm out of things to do... no school, friends all left town, ran about 6 mi this morning. it's too cold and windy for any more outdoor activities. serious boredom, i just have to fight the urge to go beer shopping before it gets dark. gotta love the "festive" holiday season

talk about baggage, that girl is ruined in the head. i'm surprised that thing can stay on the ground at 250+ mph.

well since we're all treating ourselves to things, i just acquired a wormdrive skilsaw, bosch jig and bosch 14.4v tgrip drill.

looks super clean for the price, i'd check the alignment the way that front left tire is worn though!

yeah..that's on it's way. and then they'll wonder why they are getting hassled by the police, or people with sense online. but it won't be their fault... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee at least this hasn't caught on throughout the country...

indeed, although a single small can of the sugar free version a day would probably be tolerable tolerable, I don't know. Probably the single most ridiculous fad I have ever heard of. Stupid lazy American's instead of being healthy want to supplement to wake up, perhaps adjust your diet to something good for your body and you won't need such nonsense. There is nothing good about those drinks, they taste like crap and the ingredients are terrible for you. i felt like i was having a heart attack every time i've tried an energy drink. they constrict your blood flow and make your circulatory system work overtime while dehydrating you. however, i do love a hot cup of aged sumatran coffee in the morning to get me going. otherwise vitamin b, aminos and quality sugars like fresh fruit/juice is all you really need to keep that pep in your step if you exercise regularly.

what part of cali do you live in? i will keep you up to date on this event if you want?its always cool to meet new people at shows. i live in santa barbara, i've never competed before but i would like to. i've got an accord with a RE SX 15 in 4cu and a sundown 1500 crammed in the trunk, never metered it but i would like to. well i will keep you posted on where they are going to hold the event at and then it will be up to you if you want to make the trip out here. i'm game for whatever as long as i don't have to drive more than about two hours to get there, then it's not really worth my time. i see you're from montclair, ca. is that the montclair in oakland? i'm in berkeley right now at my dad's house. i really want to tl my setup as i have no idea how loud it is. i'm also going to build a tripe ten setup for fun this winter just to mix it up. keep me in the loop, give me a pm when you know more about the location and time of the events.
