    question about defects

they can send you a recone or you can send the woofer to fi to have it reconed if you blow it, i assume that's what you mean by defect... i guess if the basket or motor were damaged in shipping that would be a bone to pick with the shipping service.

    Sundown vs RF testing

okay, i hate to do this but: this is why i have 500+ posts on ssa and under 50 on smd. i'd also like to thank all the regulars and admins here for a top-notch resource when it comes to objective information about car audio.

    Welcome to the IHoP

"The Perfect Storm" is on HBOHD right now, i'm really impressed with the audio quality of this movie, some scenes would make a good test disk. lots of very powerful lows too. additionally i'm surprised how well my velodyne dlsr3750 is standing up to the test, it's impressively powerful and low for a 10in sub.

    Pics of your pets!

i have never seen a white german, that is a really cool dog! thanks man. he is a total anomaly, he is purebred terrier, not mixed with mastiff or bulldog like so many large "pitbulls" are. he has typical terrier personality traits like affection for people and playfulness but he's about twice the size a normal purebred rednose should be. he's somewhere between 80-90lbs which makes his tenacious nature a little difficult, he scares a lot of people but he's really a sweet puppy at heart. we run 3-6 miles a day and the only person that gets tired is me (he does sleep 18 hours a day though lol).

    What would you do?

i wanna sound good and get loud..i guess i'm looking for a LOUD SOUND QUALITY setup? budget is 400 for sub and 500 for amp that being said i think bromo's on the right track, the black and blue sale prices are out of this world, that is a hell of a setup for under $1k. you gotta remember you're going to need a fair amount of 1/0, big 3 upgrade, an extra battery or two and perhaps a HO alternator to make the most out of any of the woofers suggested so far.

    Welcome to the IHoP

Same here, Acidburn, you don't wanna mess with a bunch of teens do ya? considering by "old guys" I meant people who have been around this site for many years, actual age is irrelevant, especially considering I just turned 22 and fyi, one could ascertain that you and Rob are teenagers merely by the content of your posts How sad, I try not to let people stereotype and label me a teenager, but you are entitled to your opinion. i think the meaning of a "stereotype" is getting cloudy here, he was saying it is pretty easy to tell that you were a teenager based on the content of your posts. he was not saying that all teenagers are like you duran, you're uniquely speshul

Beastiality is bad, mkay? And don't lie either because Sean got it all on camera from a half mile away. Why he was doing that I haven't the foggiest the cheeseburger was bomb, so was the wine... you can't underestimate having a 3 bedroom 3 bath to yourself with a home theater and fireplace. and stop picturing me boinking my dog you sicko

    Welcome to the IHoP

i'm surprised that thing can stay on the ground at 250+ mph. 3rd gen F-bodies are actually fairly popular with land speed record folks as they're quite aerodynamic probably why the Norwegians chose it, and that a big block will fit those nordic folk are so practical
