Sub for Small Sealed Enclosure and Lower Power
seanbw replied to tsheehan7's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
how about the new incriminator 187 line? i don't know enough about them yet to say how they'd perform in a small sealed enclosure, winisd definitely wants them vented... http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/zencart...;products_id=17 -

if your alternator is somewhere between 70-110 amps (which i assume it is) you will need a few extra batteries to see half of the 3k's potential. i will say from personal experience a 1500 is even a strain on a 90 amp alternator and an upgraded battery. i'm going to add about 100AH worth of battery and see how it runs, i would expect to run two or 3 times as much battery for a 3k.

i don't know about in AZ but the air quality has suffered with all this heat here in CA. the bay area was disgusting last week, but it rained all night here in santa barbara so i'm good i can smell trees and the ocean again, not woodsmoke and car exhaust.

He has a very tough road ahead, but it takes much much more then just him to turn this around. People so easily forget that. Agree, but he also needs to stand his ground when congress and others do not agree with him. he will, no one on capitol hill wants to see the first black president get out his baby powder and start pimp slapping these congressional bitches

my damn tv went out..
seanbw replied to jonbearsmt's topic in Computers / Electronics / Music / Games
for the price of that bulb i'd go for a new tv. jon if you get a dlp you want a newer gen tv. that samsung has the 3 color wheel and if you're buying a tv that large having 1080p will make a visual difference. look for the mitsubishi 731 or 733 series, they have 6 color and 1080p with excellent pulldown processing for movies. pioneer plasmas are the best in the consumer market, you can't go wrong with one but 42 is a little small one more thing, i would stay away from plasmas older than two years because they deteriorate over time. the best a plasma will ever look is the day you take it of the box, still if you can facilitate the proper viewing arrangement nothing tops a dlp for picture quality. price reference: i paid $700 for a floor model and immediately had the lamp replaced under warranty. check out circuit cities in your area, they're liquidating and will bargain for demo equipment. -
wow, what a deal. jl w3v3 eat your heart out!

I could get those titanium blocks so I can spark the whole way down I-95 then. while we're suggesting mods on the car, how about a snow plow?

nice to see someone else running sx's, i think they are an underrated woofer in the $250 range.

my damn tv went out..

if that's the same tv i had (is it a 52"?) i believe there's a couple steps. the bulb should be in a cartridge or tray you remove from the tv, then the bulb and connector has to be removed from that tray. you should be able to buy the bulb and connector, in which case you just unplug the old on and plug the new one in. if you get only the lamp you have to transfer the wiring harness from the old one as well. it should be pretty straight forward. unfortunately they aren't like the newer dlp lamps which come in a disposable plug and play cartridge but a pretty easy fix none the less. -
and that's your top i stole there travis, too slow! :bigclap:
