it's give and take like all aspects of audio.... the tens will give you more motor force and more coil surface area to dissipate heat, the 15's will get lower and louder (i'm assuming the 15's will have higher efficiency than the 10's given the same port and cone areas). my .02: go with the tens if you have gobs of overhead power, go with the 15's if you have adequate power but want more deebeez down low

yarp...I know. But luckily, I don't pay for the servicings & replacing parts...just anything I want to add-on. well then my friend, you are on top of the wold then aren't you? first thing i'd do is find out which of the cutest girlies in your class wants a ride most

nice ride, hope you have a nice chunk of change set aside for maintenance and don't blow it all on your system because those things are not cheap to service

it's a netbook, 8.9in screen, 2lbs, 1.6ghz atom, win xp, 160gb, 1gb ram. it was about $300 new so i hope it turns on, surfs the web and plays music, that's about it. wow thats an insane DEAL! x2. What model is it ? they go no sale sporadically at tigerdirect.com http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/se...amp;srkey=900ha seems like a pretty good deal to me.

got an Asus Xonar DX soundcard running the upstairs system now. it's amazingly clear and accurate, i'm really impressed with the product for under $100. http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/Se...&CatId=2771

sounds like a blast, good luck with the exam craziness. are you on the quarter or semester system? thanks it's kind of hard to describe my "system" as they've tried something new with us this semester. technically they call it a "block" semester, but it's not that either We have different classes that start/end throughout the semester but none of the classes meet regularly. And when one class ends there isn't necessarily another class that takes its place. Like right now we're starting clinical II next week but we don't finish up clinical I until sometime in march. Classes don't meet at a given time (like i don't have whatever on m/w/f), instead they really and truly meet randomly. One of my classes goes from meeting a couple times one week, to not at all on others, and up to 6 times in one week. i have no idea what they were thinking honestly. that is, uhhhh.... probably the most confusing sounding schedule i've ever heard of.

they still look large enough to do some serious damage
