That's what I thought at first, but I found out that "923 Total RMS Watts @ 1 Ohm" means the total of both channels L and R at 1 Ohm in stereo, which is the same as 2 Ohms Bridged. "703 Total RMS Watts @ 2 Ohms" means both left and right channels @ 2 Ohms stereo, OR the equivalent of 4 Ohms Bridged. This was the response I got from RFTech: Subject --------------------------------------------------------------- T3002 Power Output Discussion Thread --------------------------------------------------------------- Response (Jeremy) - 07/24/2008 07:05 AM Wil: Yes it does. Since that amp will not do a 1 ohm bridged load, it is both channels ran at 1 ohm stereo. 1 ohm stereo is the same as 2 ohm bridged for power. I'd just like to know if "923 Total RMS Watts @ 1Ohm, all channels combined" means the same thing as 923 Total RMS Watts @ 2 Ohms Bridged? Thanks. Best amp for around $100

^ I second the RF Power T3002. They can be had for around $150 new or ~$100 used. Actual birthsheet -

I've had this HU for awhile now and very pleased with it myself. Regarding the X-over slopes, they can be switched from Through, 6, 12, and 18db per oct WHEN you choose 2-Way or 3-Way mode in Audio Setup. In Normal Mode, there are fewer x-over freqs and the slopes are set at 12db/oct. And yes for an active setup, the HU is fully capable, with Hi and Low pass for mids and subs, and Hi pass for the highs. For all channels you can also switch phase and apply Digital Time Alignment, as well as Speaker Gain Adjustment. The EQ can be switched from simple B/T (Bass 80Hz, and Treble 10kHz) to a 3 band Parametric Eq with adjustable center freq's and Q. Overall a great HU. The "Slidetrack" interface is a little awkward, and I'd prefer it had the traditional rotary knob, but it's easy to get used to and the features make up for it.

I just got this amp myself and will be installing it soon. But from the looks of it, and by the numbers, I'm already happy. One quick question though, if anyone knows.. Below is the birthsheet and it says "923 Total RMS Watts @ 1 Ohm". That's the power of both channels, left plus right, @ 1 Ohm right? Well, I'd like to know, is that the same power output if I bridge the amp with 2 Ohms?
