if you get the 9887, you wont need the 701 the 9887 wont even work with the 701, all you need to go active, is already built in, you can go for a 3 way active system and (inofficial) use imprint, official imprint only works with a 2way setup, but thats bs

sorry, didn't read the whole thread is that 2 or 1 channel? if it's a 2 channel, i want one would be perfect for a front system amp edit: read a bit more, and looks like a mono channel jacob, would it be possible to order a realy special amp from you? 2 sae1000 + 100.4 in one case *dream*

i didnt want to open a new thread, so i post it here at the moment i'm driving arround with 1 3k on 2 rockford t1 @0.5ohm i have this since a week without any problems, even running music real loud, not a prob today i was driving on the autobahn, heard music with bass pretty much turned down (2 of 15) after ~25mins the bass was gone, i stopped to check everything, thought the remote came off or something, but everything was alright what happens is, i turn the remote on, protect led comes on for 1 sec, than the power leds comes on, and again after a sec, the amp goes into protect any ideas what could it be? i know im running it with pretty low impedance, but if it would be because of that, the amp shouldn't go in protect as soon as it gets power?

You def need more current than that. i will change the 2 optimas to Hawker Datasafe HX400, that has to be enough to feed 2 3000d's for ~3-4seconds im in a class where i am only allowed to have 2 batterys and i am not allowed to let the car run while doing the burp and as long as i dont have any big voltage drops, i dont see any problem?

make it easy, get a voltmeter if the voltage realy is dropping low, you can get a bigger battery

i think you shouldnt have any problems at all my electrical consists of a 90A alt, 2/0 wiring and 2 optima yellowtops with 1 saz3000d and a blaupunkt velocity burning desire 1 my voltage isnt dropping under 12,2V even with the car NOT running

here are some pics of the event i couldnt take part since i killed the solo x while testing, because one amp gone in protection while burping a 148, maybe 2 optimas arent enough to run strapped 3ks at 0,5ohm each? waiting for the spair and gonna try it again with better batteries. it was one of the biggest car audio events in germany over 200 competitors in db drag, db cup, bass race, spl classics and AYA many broken world records in cup and drag

the case/heatsink of the amps are connected to the amp ground, if im correct? my amprack is out of metal, and someone told me, that his amp was going into protection mode, because one amp had slightly more power than the 2nd one also on the amprack, because they were connected both on that piece of metal and sharing the ground, hmm its hard to explain since my english isnt quite the best yea, it was the slave that was in protect mode still thinking about why it happend on the first burp, since it was workin a week with music (with no probs at all)

yea, some guys on the event told me that the coil may was damaged from listening to music with the strapped 3ks xD, someone else told me, it may was because the amps are sharing the ground over the amp rack, that would have happend with their DD amps, is that possible? we'll see when i get the new spair, just takes 3 weeks, since they are out of stock over here yea, the event was real fun, ppl from all over europe been there and oki is a realy cool guy to talk with

so, ive ordered 2 saz3000d and jacob realy helped me a lot to get them here he realy is a great guy and also the amps are absolutely beautiful they are here since wednesday, but i didnt had any time to put them in the car but i realy wanted to test them, thats why i build a amprack and put them in the car yesterday, i know, i doenst look good, but it was made in 15mins so the amps are GREAT, amazing build quality and they realy put out some power, to be precise, ive killed my mt yesterday while playing music..... but damn it was loud just a quick shot of the amps
