jacob, you think they would still sound clean in a small sealed enclosure running up to 350-400hz as midbass?

expect my payment for 2 8's, 125.2 and 50.4 in the next 2-3weeks

THAT is what i wanted to hear. What Mid speakers are you using? My Omnes BB3.01 only go down to ~400hz and would 2 of those be good with a 125.2, or should i go 100.4 and bridge to 2 channel?

i'm just wondering what number woulds the nightshade put on the screen with that setup?

my best score was 145.2 legal with TL with one 12" SX and a Sundown SAZ3k, but that was with the old box and a ghetto install, new box comin soon next year im startin in Street C with 2 modified SX15s on 2 SAZ3k SXs gonna be with harder Suspension and MT Dustcap btw. some other german team is doing a 148.x with 2 10" SX on a US Amps 3200X

umm, running my sx12 at 1ohm on my saz3000k it can get REAL loud for a 12 and as long as its not clipping, the coil doesnt even smell Youre sending an SX 3k watts? for burps it gets the full 3kw but im driving the same setup daily, so yea watch that it gets a clean signal and be careful with the volume knob and you should be alright

2 optima yellowtop 1 saz3000d 1 re sx12 137.6 with a song from oki was on 139.9 till 15sec, than the sub started making weird noise

i like the fiberclass work, even if i think thats too crazy xD 5x steg 310.2? damn, where are you gettin all the juice from? any pics of the amps/bats in the car? i don't think 2x15" nightshades would be enough to keep with that kinda of frontstage, you would need something realy extreme if you still want to get enough bass

man you got so much going on a the moment personally i would like to see a 6 channel 4x100 + 2x250, just a pure amplifier, no crossovers or anything like that (yea im kinda a fan of the old amps that been just amplifiers and nothing else) that would be so awesome for a active 3 way front system maybe something like a limited line, sax100.4 + sax250.2 in one case

hey jacob ive asked for the sx recone b4, but since i dont know the measurements do you maybe know if your recones would fit a MT? i think the coils are the same ontop is the sx12 bottom is mt18

the thing the coil "sits on" dunno how its called is longer on the mt

is it normal that the 18" version is "longer" than the 12" ? the spider is the same 2 only diffrence the mt had 3 and the sx 2

the coil is the same size it fits the sx motor pretty good

150.1 is a crazy score realy good friend of mine uses the 15" mtx rfl with 2 mtx thunder x3000d amps with a box strictly build for SPL ONLY his best score was a 150.4 at 59hz ^and that's in a small mazda 323 now i would say the big boy proto is a realy crazy sub with huge potential
