    a little help.... pleeaassseeeee

no email i sent you a PM
  2. First off hello everyone. I have been browsing the forums for a while, and i really never post. I guess got a little too excited and sent payment for an enclosure before discussing it on here. haha the enclosure was for two alpine alpine swr-1222d's in a 4 cube enclosure @ 32 Hz. my question is, what would you (or anyone else) recommend for tuning. is 32 good enough for getting 'loud' and somewhat low on music? i also plan on firing towards the cabin and sealing it from the rest of the trunk. kind of like this A local shop quoted me ~$250, and they said the enclosure would sound better facing the rear? im not too sure about that one. what do you think? here's a lil pic of the space i have to play with Also, do you build amp racks? thanks for your time -mario

    15" BL enclosure question

I'm in the process of buying a 15" BL within the next two weeks. i was going to pay someone to build me a box, but its going to cost +$200 and take well over 3 weeks for him to build it. so i decided to do some some research (and save some $$$$) and found two enclosure plans that fit the 15" what one should i build? the first design or this one Net volume: 3.5cuft Tuning: 33Hz Port Area: 52.5(15"Hx3.5"W) Dimensions:16.5H"X24D"x26.5W" *design stolen from ROE. Another question, Its a fully loaded 15" Bl powered by a rockford fosgate T1500-1BD the amp is rated at 1000W x 1 @ 2-Ohms RMS 1500W x 1 @ 1-Ohm RMS is it safe to wire the subwoofer at 1ohm for daily play? i know they can take a good amount of power, but how much is safe for continuous daily play? sorry for the noob questions.
