Will have 4 15" BTL's walled in 16cuft after all displacements. Now my issue is I have no more space for batteries and have a 250a alt. I am running 3 NSB90s. The maximum power I can give each BTL is 1730wrms (scoped amps output). Worth doing or not ? Not really looking to upgrade amps in the near future.

LOL System isn't the loudest out there ? 12 18's and 24kw ?? What is your definition of loud ??

Off my existing batt/wiring/alt setup I have run 2 other monoblocks which all ran perfectly. Either way I am glad its just over and I wish I never encounter Usamps ever again. Yup got 10kw waiting for me now

Fairly eventful day, one de3000 BURST INTO FLAMES unexplicably, do I only have one DE3000 now. Last time I EVER buy USamps products. On the positive side I have 2 Atomic D5000.1's coming so 2.5k per woofer. All is well.

They will take 3k easy depending on how seinsible the user is at the end of the day. I'm planning to put 3.5-4kw through mine daily.

I have 3500wrms split between two BL's right now. I will be getting another 3500wrms amp so 2 x 3500wrms. Am getting BTL's anyway heard some Direct Competitors to the BTL's and they sounded like ass.
-
Need two 18's and have 3500wrms per sub @ 1ohm. Whats my options ? Want to smash my face in, so clue me up please. Will be walled, 16cuft a/d tuned to 35hz. Or should I wait for the Supergauss subs ?

At the moment I have fully loaded BL 18's being powered by a De3000. Are the BTL's a massive step up ?
-
Have a show coming up next week and at the moment I have a DE3000 powering two BL 18's fully loaded. I was wondering as I have another DE3000 lying around would the BL's be ok with taking 3.5k each for just a day (providing everything is set up correctly and I don't play them like a A hole) ??? BTL's are coming soon but was just curious if I should do this or not.

What is it tuned to ? thats a great score.

I have been a customer of BladeIce for years now and the customer service is second to none. Large franchises dont offer as much help as Am does, don't think he's ever told me to f-off once with my never ending questions. Top guy, great company, OP is just a twat thinking he can get it cheaper direct from the US. If it were the case I'm sure it wouldnt be worthwhile for all the distros bringing the brands in, surely ???

Picking some up this weekend, just need some info on them in terms of SQ, output as its been debated on forums and I am totally clueless with Usamp amps as I have been a Trutech Hammer fan all my life. Any info/views ?

After some playing around with my 18's I can say that the BL's don't sound silky smooth on the lows, they absolutely rape you on them.
-
Can recones "upgrade" them ?
-
Major difference over the previous BL's ? Kinda annoyed as I got my two 18's in Jan and now they are the older model
-
I dont think it's the enclosure by any means it is totally reinfornced, fibreglassed inside and is virtually bullet proof. Mind you speaking with then European distro for Fi/AA he says they need to loosen up before the lows start hammering properly. Im willing to bide my time and try it.
-
Got my setup running yesterday and it hits the top end of the spectrum with ease I am finding the lows are a little lacking ? (16cuft wall, tuned to 30hz) They are brand new subs and the suspension is super stiff, will playing them over time make the lows better ? Reason bein my previous Re Mx install played the lows very well straight away.
-
Mx's were 12's in 6 cubes tuned to 33hz. BL's are 18's in a 16cuft wall tuned to 30hz.
-
As I said it's an on going build, the main wall is complete the boot build will be finished by this sunday. I got the batteries from a guy off ebay who had them for silly money, have you used yours ? what is the performance like ?

Here is my equipment list first off: 16cuft wall tuned to 30hz 2 x Fi BL 18's with Flatwind and Cooling (D2's) 2 x Trutechnology Hammer H1's 1 x Dls A3 1 x Re Audio XXX 6.5 components (Newer versions) 1 x Pioneer P88rs 3 x Dynasty Batteries UPS-MR12-350 1 x 250a Alt by HO Alts Knukonceptz 0awg wiring allround I entered into the world of car audio with a single 15" ported in 3 cubes to 2 x 12" Orion H2's with 3k in 4.5cuft and then onto 2 x 12" Re MX's with 3k in 6cuft (Got 138.1, 143.2 and 145.4 on TL) All have been boot installs and this is my first walled install. The build thread is located here : http://www.talkaudio.co.uk/vbb/showthread.php?t=285505 and is being updated continously by Jazz152db who has done all my builds. The wall build is finished (boot is still pending) and I have a picture of the finished article below: I will upload vids and the such once I pick the car back up again. Any views and thoughts are appreciated.

Right now I'm in the middle of my build with 2 18" BL's with a Trutech Hammer H1 per sub in a 16cuft wall tuned to 30hz. After this I'm pondering changing to two BTL 18's with a DDZ1. Just wondering would it be worth it in terms of being a major leap over the BL's and the Hammers ?
-
Well the initial aim was to have a crazy loud streetbasser and numbers was my second priority. However alot of people in the know have said 150 won't be easy to get with the install thats happening now albeit I would have thought so (car is a Ford Fiesta so pretty small) I didn't get the BTL's as I was told 1.5k isnt enough for them and the BL's are a better option, but I can get a DDZ1 so now I'm pondering getting the BTL's after.
-
The general consensus I get from everyone is (aside from enclosures being a variable) that the Q's are low end monsters and the Bl's hard hitters. Just wondering how well do the Bl's play the low notes ?
-
Yeah had them for a couple of months now, build was meant to start at the end of this week but got a serious radiator leak out of nowhere A more important question on my mind is should I stick with a Trutech Hammer H1 per sub or a DDZ1 between the two ?

I have two 18's and they will be going into a 16cuft wall tuned to 32hz. I listen to drum and bass, house, trance and everything else bar rap and r&b.
