Optima battery question?
djjdnap replied to luninox's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Maybe but instead of shipping them off back to our warehouse, are 2A slow charger works pretty well to bring them back to life.. It depends on your needs, honestly i would get a bigger alternator first, otherwise you will just be putting an extra load on the alternator you have which will make it fail if it is overworked... I have a 2400 kinetik and 1800 oddysey, but also a 250a alt although the guy on here bigshot i believe is selling a optima for 100$ not a bad deal -
depends where u go.. lowes mdf is nice and smooth menards mdf is grainy and chips really easy... Birch looks nice all around, but is mroe expensive

Optima battery question?
djjdnap replied to luninox's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
U know im indiffrent about optima batts, i work at an auto store and people return batts all the time because they have crapped out... On another note, we try and slow charge them back to life and sell them as used, which works 7/10.. So idk wtf people are doin to kill these batts.. myself however would go wt a kinetik or odyssey batt -
This is not CA.com but reading the post in here makes me wonder the video had its moments... Opinions are like asses- if u aint got nothin nice or informative to say, STFU

i would say look at which sub has won more meets. And what alot of competitors use.. I would get some DD stuff but its just outa my price range for the time being.

debatable and more expensive...imo

I'd say take a look at the recomended volume for ur particular sub and if u can fit a box that meets that requirement in ur trunk then go for it. not sure which sub ur looking at but... Enclosures: BTL 10
