Some inspiration to start me off Lowes precut pieces The fat man glue, The st part of the box Fitting for teh next part Yea it might work Took the trunk off the ride to make it fit better ewww, its lookin pretty tight, had to take the tension bars off the trunk, gave me about 3 more inches(not shown) Buildin the next piece went to the club for teh moment coming together, pretty nicely for a test fit dad wanted in on the action, so he cut them out for me looks like they fit The sub easy config painted it black waitin for the glue to dry In the car at last, that thing was a B I Itch to install Was a bit confused at first, lol, forgot to wire across to teh other vc, lol About 6am Took the brake light out as well Some asian girl i work with, lol

yea and dont do it fast or the bit will break off and get stuck in the box, especially if its hot. so take it kinda slow.
-
maybe if u give us the tuning and how many cubes it is we could better help

hc2400 and odyssey 1800 no problems here

^^get a bigger trunk, lol but, why not just get some thin mdf and makr and L or U shaped piece and attach it to the board on the amp, wt some Velcro, that way it would stick but still easily come off
-
yea a dustcap is just that, it keeps the dust out of the coil area... I used goop and then some black rtv to make it the black color to match the cone, but idk shawn's prolly destroyed it by now, lol

menards mdf sucks,,, goto lowes or home depot.. Menards wood is flaky lookin and breaks real easy, i mean u can see and feel a texture Lowes or home depot the wood is smooth and u can tell its been pressed real nice bracing http://mobile.jlaudio.com/support_pages.php?page_id=166 and yea the bolts and nuts work nice, just make sure u label them
-
no sir, lol only thing i got done was swithchin the parkin brakes out and turning the rotors.... I mean it really took a good 2 hours to get the parking brakes on there, WTF, lol, its like we got it on there then the rotor wouldn't fit, so we had to loosen, then tighten ect ect the parkin brake just to get the dam rotor on there, lol But all thats left is really just puttin on the new pads and puttin the tires back on.. still dont have the title so its gonna be a test test run , lol, it would suck to do all that work then get towed

anyone know how to let the air out of the air bags? Im finally workin on the navi tryin to get the rear axle and all off and i need to get the air out of the bags... I guess i'll try to get a couple of pics goin as well.. only thing i can think of though is taking the hoses off at the pump, but they are not comin off easy enough
-
lol, ummmm, i'm tryin to remember honestly.... okay after sittin here for a good 5mins it came back to me, the dam tensil leads broke and i had to take it all out, what a bitch that was(scuse the language), kuz this was my no one is stealin my shit again install, lol but yea, it sounded nice actually only concern that i can recall was the sub was hitting the metal on the car up where the 6x9's where, but didn't really make to much of an issue. dam tensil leads, aughhhh
-
lmao not booom though, lol idk man my 93 ltc is still smooth on the bags though, never had any problems wt them..knock on wood. And yea twist it it off and had to dam near squeeze it to death to get the air out, lol. I think it has about 165k miles. Me and my dad figured that when my fam was bringin it up here they said forget spendin 15$ a bottle for that 75-140, lol, kuz i mean u would have to hear that thing grindin or makin some kinda noise.. But any way on to pics most of the work area lol, u can see the old axle in this one. the squeezed bag, lol the newer one (to me) in there, just gotta tighten up the bolts, finish fillin the differential, and take off the older parkin brakes, cuz there a bitch, hammers torch ect ect, tryin to get the rotors off that thing...the ones from teh broken one are still good so just gonna swap'em.... ^^^I hate u shined the engine up for the hell of it, wt some MPL, works rather nice too should have it rollin 2ma and my CA glue finally came in to finish my recone, pics of that on another thread when i get to it,
-
lol, well i already bought the 75-140 and the hd lucas additive, i've read it should work though a lil better... it was bout 15$ lol, the additive was bout 10$ +20% off lol oh and it wasn't submerged in water, its been sittin for a yr(Without the cover on the differential) so rain, snow, ect ect

yea i see what u talkin bout jon wt the solinoid, will do 2ma, always been scared of high pressure shit, just because i can imagin freak accidents happenin, such as my bro fillin a bike tire up when we were younger and dat bitch poppin, lol, i think im scarred. But will manage But the story wt this car is, my grandparents bought it back in 98 when they first came out, was in louisiana for oh, the majority of its life span, they have gotten older and my moms is takin care of them now here in indy, so they gave it to my mom whom gave it to me.... my uncle and cousins where bringin it to indy from louisisana, and on the trip here, i guess all hell broke loose, lol, wt grinding noises and what not.. so they tow it on up, and its been sittin waitin for me to fix it basiclly, well my dads been waitin for me to fix it shall i say. After i get it fixed i still need to get the title and what not, and the inside is bad....real bad, should be a nice lil project car
-
yea those spiders are gonna be lookin pretty bad, however it shouldn't be a problem. Most peoples subs are gonna have those spiders lookin pretty ragged
-
well i got it off, lol.. wt the bags inflated... its like midnight so, to keep in good standards wt the neighbors had to quit. got some pics, yay.. should get the other one in there 2ma.. Man if i had the money i would switch the bags out to a well, hydraulic type bag...lol, its hard to differ between the two when ur already sayin bagged, ll Now i was told to switch the differential fluid to 75w-140 synthetic wt xl3additive for a limited slip axle which navigators have. The case off, trucks been sittin for about a year or so, spiders and bugs everydam where. Wt the axle off, as i said bags still inflated. The axle sittin on the jack ready to be pulled out, but its/was hella late Bucket O bolts/tools The pump was rattling real bad, so once i took it off it has grommets that stop it from rattling metal on metal, replaced those and it sounds smooth now. With the fluid container back in place. More to come 2ma
