what size wire are you running. Big 3? And yea your battery is horrible at 550cca. Upgrade that battery as well IMO. any battery other than an economy 1 yr warranty is at least 600cca + -
and as i go back to the page it says sold out lol weird

check your voltage before and after your fuse holder, with the music playing. It should be the same. -

I think i can shed some light on this. Back back back in the day i had a jbl 1200, i got an 10$ANL fuse holder and i swear every couple months it would melt and i would have to get a new one. Mind you this was wire going into plastic piece being held down by a bolt. The audio store kept trying to get me to buy the exspensive one but i was determined to make my own lol. Now adays ring terminals and better still 10$ fuse holders actually eliminate that problem, but i have had that happen to me in the past. -
since when? did hifonics have a falling out or something? I remember when audiopipe would be what i saw at the pawn shop all the time. maybe things have changed. if someone would enlighten me

Hifonics colossus amp problems

kinda of HU do you have? RCA's might have low voltage or you might have something set wrong. I never use the bass boost on my amps, just set the gains and use the HU's bass settings to compensate'somewhat' -
wait dont tell him to suck it... I just dont see that right coming from u or chop these days lmao

Well i=e/r i=current e=voltage r=resistance v and i are your friend and want alot of them v is like your mom you can only take so much of her....or until you get to like 15 volts, but you dont need to worry about that I is like your best GF and you want as much of them as you can get. resistance is like her hater friends that get in the way of you two being together the less of them the better. resistance is stopping the full potential of your alt or battery from reaching its destination typically. So the more runs you have the less resistance and more current you will get to your amp. I think http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/Support/rftech.aspx#ampcalc explains it a little better with real results.
