I actually lol'd at this. Haha That sure is a pretty box :]
-
Shoot them an email quick and tell them you want a D2, which can be wired to 1 or 4 ohms.

Single 21" death penalty, if I decide to do this I'd have Fisher Customs build me a box. What would you guys recommend as far as box size, tuning freq, port area? Looking for heavy lows so I was thinking 28-33hz. Going in the back of an extended cab F150, sub forward port up. Power will most likely be a Rockford T1500-1bd.

Thanks just needed a confirmation in case there were any typos.

My IXL's are getting delivered today, on the SSA site it says 800wrms, on the Mach 5 site it says 1000. Which is correct?
-
You guys will have some vids for sure once it's in my truck. Probably sometime later this week.

$185 right now for a D4 on the eD site. Loving it, I still haven't heard it in my truck though, hopefully tonight. So far, it has officially beat the chit out of the Suburban, I'm hearing rattles I never heard before, LOL

QFT, great price great product.

13Av.2 D4's are on sale for $185 on the eD site, a T1500 would power two nicely.

Same goes for my truck, when I want to listen to it loud the front two windows go down because its a huge increase in output especially in the low hz. Things really get shaking it seems like when the windows are down. Maybe this is why my 12" Q is often mistaken for way bigger setups, haha. The Suburban on the other hand, is equally as loud if not louder to the ear when the windows are up as opposed to down. It's gotta be the drastic difference in cabin space/peak with my F150 vs the Suburban. Boxes in the truck go sub forward port up, boxes in the Suburban go sub up, port rear. EDIT: Now I got to thinking, the Suburban being bigger and harder to pressurize has a higher peak I would assume. While the truck being smaller pressurizes faster/easier, therefore does it have a lower peak? It would explain why it's louder in the low range than the Suburban is, and vice-verse for higher notes which the Suburban is dominant on, right?

All my boxes are port up, my roof doesn't rattle like the Chevy's do (that I've seen). Ten cubes sounds nice. How about for an 18"?
-
Haha, that's badass. Is the tape strictly for looks or is that actually holding the windshield somewhat together?
-
Hmm.. is this the F150 box?
-
Okay after playing the sub for a few days back and forth to work and around town, I turned the gain up a little more now that it's broken in a little. WOW. For a single sub, this thing pounds the chit out of the Suburban, its SO much louder than I expected, and sounds great doing it. We'll see how long it lasts I suppose, I don't want to fork out the money for a recone on this thing, haha.

So far, it has ALOT of output in the lower range and sounds really clean, the true test will be when it's in my truck but that won't be for another week or so. So far it seems louder than the Q down low but falls off quickly up top. Also, for size vs output, it's an amazing package. This box will take up almost half the room my other Fisher box for the Q takes up. (I wasn't ever sure if I was going to buy the 13, but I came up on one for $100 and a small trade, so I had to try it out)

In it's current state in the Suburban, it'll be going in my truck when it's back from the shop :] (In my truck it will be sub forward, port up)

Ran out of daylight today so I never cleaned up the car, hopefully I'll get some pics tomorrow.

Quoting myself for effect. BJ Fisher boxes are the bee's knees. On a side note, I picked up a 13.6MP Sony Cybershot today, once it's all charged and I clean the car up a bit I'll take some pictures.

First impression: Holy chit. (In good ways and bad) The bad: DHL shows up at 9 am, I happen to be out in the driveway so I grab the box and take it in the garage, but I hear a noise of something loose. Yup, the botton of the right (white) aero elbow broke off, the glue didn't hold. (There boxes aren't meant to be thrown anyway, which I'm sure some are, I'm fully blame this on DHL, as there was alot of glue inside and the other elbow is very secure). I quickly fixed it, I ghetto rigged made a duct tape plug sort of just for the time being, I had to head out to help my brother move in to his new place, but it works fine, no port noise and it's on very firm. Since my truck is in the body shop, I threw my 9.1 and the 13Av.2 in the Suburban, which I have wired for testing and making road trips a little better, haha. The good: It's SO clear and stays clear even as it gets incredibly loud, I couldn't imagine any more out of an enclosure this size, having only radio music till the iPod adapter get's here it still given my 12" Q a run for it's money in the low end, but I have yet to hear any real low stuff, so I'm waiting on that adapter. The factory CD player barely reads burned discs, anyone know any tricks to that? Certain file types? The box is sitting sub up, port back right now and I couldn't be happier with my second BJ fisher box, expect more business soon! single 18", dual 18", yikes. I'll have pictures of it all tomorrow after work. A++++

More like stickied, I lol'd when I read the OP.

Haha that looks awesome, the aeros running inside the box look sick, I can't wait to hear this thing.
-
Clean install. The Mustang itself appears to be really riced, aluminum wing and some 20's? C'mon.
-
Any updates on this thing? The 13Av.2 is putting a dent in the floor where its sitting, haha.
-
Looks badass. What subs are going in it?
-
Yeah I noticed that deceiving little brace I had first mistaken for a driver brace. Looks awesome man.
