I need to replace a dust cap on one of my IXL 18"s, which size do I need? I'm ordering from Parts Express.

I'm working with 300 x 2 @ 4 ohms. Anyone want to piece something together for me? Single 6.5" mid is preferred, I'll be making baffles for my doors. Maybe four tweeters? (Two per channel) + Crossovers and all that, thanks guys.

Subs forward port up, subs forward port side.

Haha just further incentive bro. I say go for it, I'd love to have a TL but can't justify dropping the coin.

F'real.. The reflection on my back window looks pretty cool in the first few pictures.

But all the highschool kids who think they are loud can find out the truth. Because numbers mean everything I see what you're saying though, get them up on the meter and maybe they'll stop bumping at every light, lol

I've got two of these but temporarily I want to see what one can do, I'll be running it off of 900wrms. Anyone want to design me a nice efficient box, tuned anywhere from 27-32 hz? Sub will have to be facing forward, aero ports preferred, 6" PVC pipe is what I'd like to use. Max dimensions (to keep it under window line) would be 54" length x 22" height x 15" depth.

I've wondered the same thing http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/i...showtopic=23327 I've seen 800 and 1000, either way I'm sure they'll take 1000 rms.

Thanks for your help guys, 9 cu/ft is doable but I'd prefer a tad bit smaller, I'd like to know necessary (not flared, PVC) port lengths for these sizes: 7 cu/ft @ 30 hz 8 cu/ft @ 30 hz

Great thanks, How about two 6" ports?

The truck came with factory 17" alloys and Hankook 235/70/17, I picked up a set of the factory 18" wheels with 265/60/18 BFG's, then bought the Falken 285/60/18's later. It has sat everywhere from stock to a 3" spacer up front, to where it sits now with the front spacer removed and a 2" drop shackle out back. I need some better stance pictures for sure, it sits just about level. Truck has had chrome billet grilles top and bottom, then changed to a black billet grille, and now the current Saleen grille. The Harley Davidson tail lights were also added along with an LED 3rd brake light, and Harley imitation headlights were added also. Tint is double 5% all around, single 5% windshield strip. It won't be staying like this forever, but right now it suits my needs/comfort pretty well, always SO comfortable inside, constantly getting compliments on how cozy it feels, and the 4:20 crew will understand I'm sure, and before the rest of you make any assumptions, its always squeaky clean and smells like a new air freshener, so don't trip I've got a VMP 91 tune, S&B CAI, Aero exhaust. I also have 4.10 gears in my room waiting to go in, along with a center console swap and fog lights, with another set of 6K HID's. I'm constantly modding the truck, I just don't even have time for any install or even to take some decent pictures, hopefully soon I'll post some updated pics. Thanks guys! I'll post up some pictures from the last few weeks tonight if I get the chance. As far as the audio goes, give it some time, you guys will get a full Rebuild log eventually once it's time for deadening/components to go in, I've also got some Mach 5 IXL 18s to play with :]

These look like some awesome subs at a great price, glad to see them up for sale but I might hold out a little and get some 8's :] -

I've got two IXL 18's, svc 4 ohm, I believe they're pre-ordered models but they've never seen power. My cat Sandwich decided to sleep on one of them the day after I got them in the mail and caved in a nice fresh dust cap. If I wanted to recone these to dual voice coils, either D2 if I decided to use one, or D4 if I want to use both (looking for a 1 ohm load) (the baskets have holes on the other side waiting more push terminals)... What options do I have when it comes to getting them re coned? Cost? Thanks in advance. * Power would most likely come from a Sundown 3k
-
No time line, I don't really care how long it takes.
-
You didn't give us any goals, so how would we determine what is best for your application? But with that power I'd run a D2 Q with or without BP option.
-
Q. @ 32ish hz If you want actual help, provide more information from the start.
-
I would suggesting asking Mach5 directly. I've called about five times and sent emails, I'm not getting any response.
