Red wasps aka paper wasps are a PITA I swear. We have so damn many of them in texas its awful. They can sting you over and over just for fun. Not a typical bee that dies after it stings you. Your best bet is a good can or wasp or hornet spray that has a 20-30 ft. reach. There is a wasp nest somewhere...kill it and they will die.

My assumption for shipping was lower though, I'll correct that. I always pack my stuff. I dont trust the places to do so. I also ensure my stuff for full value, sometimes depending if I have a receipt or not, full retail value no matter what is paid for the item.
