Hello my name is Justin and I am a post whore
-
Very good output for what they are and decent to good SQ for what they are.
-
I was extremly surprised with them. For $80/sub, I have to say that they are IMO the "best bang for the buck"

Sorry man, the onle scanner I have is a lief 45, which was a 42 bit color scanner that is tru 4200 DPI, from way back when everything was 16 bit 1200DPI. Cost.......wait for it..........$20k ......worth today........$1500. Still works GRRRRREAT!!!!! I also have a Fugi Pictography 2000, 1st true laser writer for images, no negatives, uses distilled water so it is environmentally friendly ....Cost me $4 for 8x11 photo print. $35k for printer and rip (raster image processor)....Now only worth $1400.

So I am looking for a new vehicle but I am still wanting to do the console for the 8s. Need a few opinions. I have about 1.3 cu.ft. with room for 1, 2, or 3 of them. I also have 2 amp that I can use. 275 HCCA 75x2@4 300@4 150x2@2 600@2 300x2@1 1200@1 [email protected] or the 600D 250@4 400@2 600@1 So power isnt a problem. But my question is 1.3 gross with 2 of the 8s one rear fire the other downfire. Ported or sealed? I have the room for both. If I go sealed I will probly make smaller chambers in the console, ported dont really know with a box that big. I guess that I could just make it smaller or make an internal chamber like the sealed would be. Man am I rambling. Give me some Ideas I will be picking up the rest of the supplies this weekend.

If I get a tahoe I am getting the newer model '02-'05 The console that fits in the tahoe fits in my truck So, I might as well make it hand have it ready for either application. My thoughts are... Going with the butterworth vented enclosure as shown here. http://www.soundsplinter.com/rli_series/rl...nformation.html And making it around .8-1 cube with 30 sq. in. of port tuned to ~35. I would really like Mike to chime in on this one. Seeing that my enclosure is going to be a little larger then his site shows.

How long do you have? Only reason is that I dont have internet hooked up t the mac at home. Also it would take forever to upload the file to you.

If they return it on you, make them reemburse you for the cost of shipping or call them and have them tell the driver to reship it (do not sign for it if you tell him to do that)
-
Tell me about it...call them, put a trace on the package. Try and convince them to send it to Jim before they return it, if you run into any problems let me know. I have a little weight with Fedex, but no guarantees cause this is a residenital delivery.
