I use it fully for myself when I am alone, which is 90% fo the time. With all the TA set for the driver seat the sound stage for the passenger seat is on the dash towrd the right. When I set it up for both seats it seems to be a little left on the driver and right on the passenger. Basically I just TA the mids and highs to eachother on the same side. With the center channel I wont have to worry about setting it just for the left or right, driver seat or both. I will delay each side and rely on the center to bring the sound stage tword the center.

From the small amount of testing I have done with them, they sound good to me as long as you arent more then 35-40 degrees off axis, and as long as you are with in 3-5" of eye level. What do you mean on the complex and center channel?

I think of it this way Ramos... Instead of having an external crossover, 2 30band EQs, and somthing for TA I get one box that will save me some room in my already small space.

Its not for surround These trucks are very wide...and to get a good 2 seater system with a good center image and height I need one. Per Zier...5 time iasca SQ champ. Don't let me hear of 5.1 proc. going in <{POST_SNAPBACK}> p9 combo ok? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Allright , you are now on the list of people whose head units cost more than my car Dave Edwards is right along with ya <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Your head unit cost more then my car...the CRX that is

Never heard a competition sq setup in a large truck . THe bat cave is probably the largest I have heard. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> One of his is a Youkon XL the other is a mazda mini truck that you might have seen in last months ca&e mag.

The difference in my setup vs' his is amazing...just in the canter channel itself.

I imagine they are filling a nice gap. I looked at doing the Extremi in my truck, but mixing them with just a tweeter didn't seem to be the best path. What tweeter are you using? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I have Harsh pooplike Polk Db1000 in there now. The BG neo3's are in the garage waiting on a trip to houston for a-pillars and a center channel by innovative rides.

They look a bit spendy for my tastes, for that amount of dough you can build one heck of a DIY set. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I have owned 3 sets of CDT products. 2 of teh 3 had to be returned for defects and 1 set couldnt handle the 90 watts they were rated at. I wont own another CDT product. Although the HD mids were pretty nice.

Unfortunatly the fleece was very thick. I didnt feel manly enough to walk into walmart for panty hose Anyways, added layers in a few spots and 3 layers of bondo. The bondo had an issue sticking ot the plastic so Joseph(Magic Man on ca.com) brought over some stuff that is similar but sticks to anything, unfortunatly it is $30 a tube so we used it sparingly. Sanded as much as I could at 3am and no power tools. Installed them for vacation trip. When I get back I will continue to sand/bondo then get someone to vinal them. If I get a chance I will post up the pics I took before I leave town.

I love my extremis in the doors IB. I dont have the mag in right now and its plenty of bass without the high pass on Once the coustic 4" go in I may not be as happy, dont know yet... If I am not happy and decide to go for the 5.25" you are more then welcome to have/pay shipping on the 4" ones...

Yes, Coustic Reference 4" midranges. The fan was blowing fresh air in the garage. The Bondo about killed me, but the us composit stuff didnt smell at all...and took forever to harden. I think it was a weak batch.
