Man, 2.5 hours of work well worth it... And now that all of the back breaking work is done....

Just ordered the foam. 2lbs, 8 cu.ft. I think that it will work just fine. THANKS Nick!!!

Cool, cool. You think that this will be easier then a large block of styrofoam? With the expanding foam I will have to make a guide for it. so I can shave it. The styrofoam is one block that I can shave. Hmm...I need to think of how to make a "guide" for it...MDF maybe? in a square and then shave it?

Yeah I was having the problem with the tweet and mid levels. With that passive x-over you dont have the tweet level adjustment. Some songs the tweets were overbearing (1" silk dome). Other the tweets lacked and the mids would bottom out. None of that has happened and I am now able to turn it up to the point that my ears cant stand it. I hardly ever do it, but its still nice to know that if a car with some sony in it pulls up, I wouldnt have to worry about the mids.

yah I saw that... how are You liking it? outside of the 'newness' of it all? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I like it a lot. I have the full power of the memphis on the mids so they get even lower. I have the Soundstream set for about 30 watts per side. The tweets arent as "harsh" due to that fact that I have more control. All in all I really like it cause I can set my x-over points individually beacuse the CDT x-overs sucked, and I even had the sat net 560s (best you could buy at the time)
