Installed a BL 12 last night and I was wondering how long does this thing need to break in before I can play it loud? Thanks. All the gains are pretty much down.

Ya since I have a bit more room, I was thinking of going to 19 x 21-22 x 14-14.5. When I use the Linear Team site it says for 2 4" ports they need to be over 20 inches, which I dont have. Same with the PSP site. Ive never dealt with aeros and I just dont want any port noise or whistling. I want this box to be ideal for this sub.

Right now I have dims for a box 19x19x14. 2 cubes at 32 hz for a bl 12. Using aeroports but how many do i use. The calculater on the internet said 4 2" ports 15" long. That sound right?

Wow that would be perfect for my 06 Mustang. The Fi Bl needs 2-2.5 cubic feet tuned at 32 htz.

I just ordered a Fully Loaded Fi BL 12 to put in the trunk of my 06 mustang. I have been looking at your builds and really like them. I was wondering how much it would cost for a box around 2-2.3 cubic feet tuned to 32~35 hz? Also, I would like to kinda customize it with an Fi logo. But thats not as important as gettin the best possible box. Thanks

Can you give the dimensions to this box? I have an 06 Mustang and would like to do the same thing for my Fi Bl 12. Thanks

Have a Fully Loaded Fi BL 12 and its going in the trunk of my 06 Mustang. 32~35 hz, dunno how big exacly yet, no bigger than 2.5, no smaller than 2. Use 12-16 square inches of vent area per cubic foot of volume. Any help?

Not offhand I dont. I know I have a box right now that is 15.5 x 34.0 x 16.5 and it wont fit. Even if I take out the spare tire. I noticed a build you did for a 90s model stang and you built it where it was flush with that lip. I thought that was pretty cool.

Ok guys, I am ordering subs this week. I still am not sure on which ones or one. No more than $330. Looking at 2 12s, 1 12, or 1 15 in a 06 mustang trunk. Would like to go ported. Audioque, Fi, every brand possible I have looked at and still cant decide. Anyone want to help please. I really need it. Thanks guys. Powering off a Kenwood X1R.

Geared for SPL. Not sure on the airspace. Just an 06 mustang trunk. Not a whole lot to work with. Space in the trunk but hard getting it into the trunk. If that makes sense. Would like ported, so it would be louder. Listen to rap

I have a Mustang which equals no trunk. I have 2 Audiofonic 12s in a ported box in my backseat. They are rated at 1200W max but we all know thats a lie. I am looking for a mono amp to power these until I find a 15 that will fit in the trunk. I have looked at kenwood KAC-X1R, hifonics 1608d, and a few others. My budget it 300 max. Thanks for the help.

Hey guys. I have the Kenwood Excelon X1R amp and am looking for some new subs to put in the trunk. I have really been looking at AudioQue. I like the way there stuff looks and the prices. Its looking like 2 12 Sdc2.5's in a ported box (if the room is available). I was wanting to see any other suggestions for 2 12s in the range of 300-350 and also wondering who has had experience with these and if they were loud for spl. Thanks
-
Hello dem beats. Mostly just going for loud. Dont want to spend any more than 300-350 on subs. probably going to build 2 seperate boxes so if an emergency arises I can take them out fast. Want ported too.

I was thinkin the same way. I have the Kenwood Excelon KAC-X1R. Would a Memphis Mojo 12 hit harder than 2 Memphis m3's? Or any other suggestions for a 12 that will pound with that amp? Thanks
