With dirt that is.

My latest project was installing 2 275 gallon tanks in my basement. What a fun time that was. The tanks are light until you are in a tight stair well holding the butch. All in a days work. Now I have to fill in my underground tank.

So this heating season brings an interesting dynamic. Fuel oil is cheaper than wood pellets. Guess I will be using oil this year.

At the end of the day it is the same job in another facility where we make wet wipes, spun lace, and injection molding.

My opinion? I gather you are good at what you do. This is really not a guess, rather an observation of how you carry yourself, your obvious work ethic (I've not seen very many people always working and completing so many different tasks so efficiently), how you are involved with your family, how you choose to keep and maintain your possessions, and so many other things I have gathered over the years of knowing you, reading your posts, seeing your pics... I know I am good at what I do as well. I know I would not be giving them the time of day, at this point. If you don't hire me when I first interview with you, I will give you another chance. The guy you hired instead of me didn't work out, but by now you should know my reputation. On my second interview, this is your last chance. If you don't hire me this time, you are missing out on the best candidate for the job, and now it's an insult. You want me to come back for a third shot? You are going to have to pay dearly for my services now. I did that in my current job. I went in, the guys in the shop saw me and knew who I was. They hired someone else the first time, but he was told by the fellas how good I am. The next time, I walked in to the office and informed them that I had been there before, and this was their last opportunity to hire me. They jumped at the chance to hire me. You are obviously a worthy candidate for whatever it is you choose to do, Neal. This is not some internet ass kiss or butt fluff, it is truly how you come across. Don't ever let anyone step on you like this again. If you want to go through with the interview, as you have not given them an ultimatum, do it... but let them know that this is their last opportunity at the rate they are currently offering you. Thank you Seth. I am going to see what tomorrow brings with this interview, but like I told my manager, this is the last time. I enjoy developing mechanics and leaders. The only down side is the guys I train leave me and become a lead mechanics on other shifts.

think out loud more. Best thing you can do. If I can Help let me knowThank you. I appreciate the offer.

I did that at one place every quarter for a year. They hired a different guy. He came in, did all the work and set them up from nothing. Five months later they fired him stating they no longer needed him and his work was complete. The production manager now runs the maintenance dept, and the place is in shambles. That is very common when production takes over maintenance which is the reason I end up going up and getting things back in order and we play this game all over, again.
-
End rant, no questions please. Just ignore me thinking out loud.
-
No they have to fill this position in 3 years because I always lend my guys out to fix their equipment and continue to maintain everything else.
-
Same questions and I always have examples for the questions of what I have done and performance reviews to back it up.
-
Sometimes redundant interviews year after year will take the wind out of your sails.
-
They requested my resume because they want me in their building to build a maintenance team.
-
This will be the third year in a row.
-
So the question is, Are they toying with me again?

Very nice!

The wife has been making me walk with her everyday I have off, 7 miles! She must think I am getting fat.

Smile and wave. In other words, walk around with your dick in your hand. Sometimes you do what you gotta do. Sucks I agree, but at the end of the day it is a check.

Belly >> rest. Never cook fish in foil. Doesn't cook long enough to need it. We used to go up salmon fishing every weekend and limit out 3 each for 2 days x 3 = 18 fish every weekend in the fall. We canned it, froze it, and just got so sick of eating it.

Smile and wave.

IMO the only decent part of a salmon is the tail. We always cooked ours in foil with lemon and salt baked in the oven or on the grill. Although I can't stand it any more because I ate so much growing up.

You are obsessed!
