I currenty live in Lock Haven, 2 miles from LHU and 30 miles from PSU.

The MLI's are currently running off of his HU until he saves enough money to buy another amp. The sub easily over powers the front end. If he wants to try ported I will go 2.2 @30hz. Thanks for the information and your build looks pretty good. I think the new dust cap is something that Scott is making with his new toy, he is very innovative.

I am thinking you will really like the Fi's. The SQ should be pretty pleasing in the proper enclosure. As for compareing the two for loudness, that is going to be basied on install.
-
What enclosure did you like better? The guy I built the box for wanted to go sealed. After hearing it in the truck, I am going to try and talk him into going ported and see what he likes better. He listens to a lot of Country music.

I look foward to that build.

To all the Irish folks. Erin Go Bragh!!! It's Green Beer Time!!

Did some box building, hooked the 12 up running at 8 ohms mono for now on some propower 350 watts rms. Sounds pretty impressive in a 1 cub sealed enclosure. Has anybody had any experience with these subs?

You can still party like one today!!

A little something I noticed on the sub for slap protection. A piece of felt on the cone.
-
Sounds like a nice review on a good sub. Craptastic interisting adjective for a sub box.
-
Joe I think you should continue with the build. I have time and other things you may need.

Just read the f150 thread. I think Nick summed it up pretty good.

Welcome back

Hi back at you and welcome.

Damn, ask you will receive!! Progress is looking good! Keep the pictures coming.

Nice Job. That is a cool idea for the battery box.

I definitely will. And as far as the looks, I have heard they can be deceiving. I prefer the depth od the Havoc mids to the Rainbow mids as I would not have needed to cut the door panel, but that is water under the bridge. The cf cone looks amazing too. I really look forward to seeing what they are capable of. On a side note. The tweeter pods sucked. There were too many complex for the Vinyl and when fitted, I mounted the pods about 1/2" too low and they prevented proper placement of the door panels. I broke them down to the stock sail and am going to start over. Have you tested the mids yet, I am curious myself.

I would question a lot of things baised on that review. First off is it a legitimate review or sombody bashing Fi. Second a Sub only performs as well as the install (box, power,etc.). Did he talk to Scott about his problem? As far as output the ssd's can hold their own, I know becaues I have 2 of them each in 2.2 ported at 33hz running off of 1500 watts rms and by no means are they ment to be SPL monsters. So in my opinion this is just somebody acting like an idiot. If you would, could you tell us where this review was found?

This is could be a good idea to help with server and bandwith prices.

Looking Good!! Looks like the lexan found a good home. Also looks like those old subs come in handy for something.
