It is nothing special, but gave $30.00 off their price.

Thanks Seth, the wheel gun is a 22LR. I may never shoot it, but I am sure someone will. http://www.heritagemfg.com/product_detail.cfm?prod_id=5

You got that right, I loaded 3 mag by hand once.

5 magazines loaded and 200 stripper clips loaded and ready. Not sure if I may have a problem...

They told me they worked a deal out to buy the one from HQ for in the US and then HQ would be able to buy the new one within their budget. I may have worked them hard asking lots of questions to get lots of information. With my bonding knowledge and attention to detail I could be their best rebuild tech. Rich gave us two units already rebuilt and had us tear them down. I may have pointed out several incorrect items. He was less than pleased with his rebuild techs. I told him not to worry we will fix everything and test them before we leave. He just shook his head and went for coffee.

We did 20 points across the sonotrode, I believe.

I finally got to spend time with a very good buddy in his element. Over the many years of working in my facility, I have help him develop die cutter stations for the nonwovens application. Yesterday we spent the day at his machine shop and way more than I had expected! I even got to make some cuts and set up the tool angle for sharpening. Here is a link to give you a little look. http://www.icd-inc.com/gallery/

Lot of fun there!

I just wanted to let everyone know that Sean"s equipment is amazing (Polytec that is) I got to spend about 4 hours setting up measurement points to measure micron movements, then run it in the Doppler software and watch 3 different views of the sonotrode, we then made some material cuts to get the results we needed to make sure there were no frequencies in our desired operating range and ran the Doppler again to see if the face of the sonotrode was working optimal. It was truly awesome for me to get to do this and see how it works. I now have a much better understanding for how small those unit can measure and how the Doppler graphs work. I worked my manager pretty hard to buy me one, but so far he is resisting.

Hand written love note is always a good addition too.

Yes I do. They are going to be showing us how to tune a song trode using your laser system. They looked at me funny when I told them I know of polytec and know a guy who works there. I am very excited to learn this.
