Crescendo 3k ? Seems like the same thing as the SAZ 3k. I've heard it's the same board Going to look into these. THey seeem very comparable. The Crescendo is out of stock until Dec 20th. Thoses guys on caraudio classidieds really carry on about stuff. Might just go with db-r and buy their referb 3k.

What kinda budget are we talking? dB-r has SAZ-3000D's for like $500. Look into SounDigital too, very small footprint amps. I'm thinking of selling my 3KD, but I'd rather get more than $500 out of it since I lost my job. Budget is not an issue, just looking for opinions of what is out there and people are using. 3000 watts seems nice to run 4 ssd 12's. I emailed db-r on the referb, just waiting on them.

I should have tried to negotiate When I bought my son's jeep I ask the guy if he wanted to sell it or show it? His reply was sell it, so I took it for 3 hrs and went over everything and returned with a list of issues and an offer. His jaw dropped as looked at the paper I gave him, then told me his mechanic checked the jeep out and said everyhting was fine. I said yes it is fine, fine to SIT on your lot and not the road. Big differance! Needless to say I paid what I offered taxes included and he calls me from time to time for help. Shit man I need to come visit. Get a hands on lession. I need to buy a truck and be able to negotiate better. This being a 2nd car I am in less of a bind. J More than glad to help if you like. If I can sneak down to Lock Haven for a day I will take you up on it. I plan on taking some mechanic classes when I get back. Learn more than how to fill oil/antifreeze/gas/washer/brake fluid, change tires/w.shield blades, and clean the car. I am pretty mechanically retarded. I used the hell out of my Sundown SAZ-3000. I loved that amp. Never gave me any problems, and the customer service is top notch. Plus with the deals they have from time to time its well worth the time and money. J I sent db-r an email for a referb 3000 and hope they get back to me. Reason behind this build is advertisment for spookhaven. After the system is complete the windows are getting wrapped.

Random question for all, I am looking for 3,000-3,500 watts for my truck. Best bang for the $$ and I do not want to buy cheap junk. I have been running Kicker for years, but am thinking about going with Sundown or a quality equivalent. Any thoughts and recommendations.

You and I should get together and car shop for people then. I am far worse than my father, who picked apart everthing on wheels. He told me I am better at picking things apart and then making the seller understand why he needs to sell it to me rather than somebody elese for safety concerns.
