So I am sitting here playing with this processor and it would work great as a controlling system for the egg. The problem will be a software issue that we can not resolve due to the company does not exist any more and the company that bought them destroyed all this old technology. So it was a fun exercise, but will be much easier to just buy the Rocks.

Ok guys I had a moment of weakness and thought about down sizing my subs to 12's. On my ride to work tonight (yes I do have a real job) reminded me of how much I enjoy the sound of 18's. So I am going to continue making my install look better which is the only part I don't care for. I am going to relocate my second battery to a better location and make a new amp rack to hide all the wires. Stay tuned there is more to come.

If I could move some things areound under the hood for the extra battery that would be great. I guess I can look into that Friday.

So I figured I would play around and try to make this look a little nicer. Still can be remove with a little muscle and if I decide to keep it this way I will get more carpet so it looks nicer.

Question for anybody that knows. Phone line is one conductor typically. Is it better to run stranded when you have dsl or does it not matter?

Money shot, not quite. I have to cut the hole and add ome round stock for bracing. All I have for now maybe Austin will snap some pictures of what we have done and add to this.

Hope you make your own rub and it doesn't include salt. Salting that far ahead will not help the texture. As for the buttermilk, that is exactly the goal. You can make your own buttermilk by adding a tbsp of lemon juice to a cup of milk. Goal is to do the opposite of what salting too early does. You should salt before you cook at least 15min but much more than that and you aren't helping the process. I'd rather salt right before hitting the smoker than hours before. I am going to try that Sean. Thanks. Maybe my ribs will taste even better!

We have glue melters that do what you want to do. On one display we can view ip to 34 temps. I guess I may have to look into seeing what I can do with this technology and see what it will take to convert to home use. Thanks you have me thinking now.
