It depends on UPS pick up. I am not sure the schedule though.

They sure are one of the best dealer subs on the market!

Not trying to defend the dealership here, but those checksheets are bullshit. In a lot of cases we just run down and check yes, or good, or done. We don't get paid enough to really spend the time to read and answer everything appropriately. I will check the tire condition and evaluate weather they need to be rotated or not based on wear patterns and tread depth. If the vehicle has disc brakes we don't need to remove wheels to check the brake system. I understand that, but he said that he did infact rotate the tires and I was wrong. That is what I have an issue with. Honestly goes a long way, all they had to do was say yea we felt the tires were fine and do not need rotated and the checksheet does not have that option.

I am not paying you to hang out with me What are you doing?

At 86k I change the front and reaf diff and the transfercase on the 4runner and the oil was very nice and golden. Very little on the drain plug magnets. I was rather suprised because when I did the F150 is was holy shit bad at 60k.
-
This is the first for me. My 4runner was warrenty work when that happened. As long as I get the ok, I will be doing all warranty maintenance and sending them the records. Sad part is I am far more honest then their paid monkeys.
-
I am going to try and get the approval to do all this myself. Guess we will see what comes of this.
-
This was the 5k check for the warranty. These checks are every 5k for up to 75k. Guess that is why they are free, they only do what they feel like.
-
Yea I have a hard time believing dealerships do a good job in general, I know there are exceptions, just none I know of. Glad you have found one.
-
Fun note I replaced all oils in the 4runner and what a good time that was. I was suprised how easy it was to do that job. Good for another 100k atleast.

Well it seems I found another dealership that has a shitty service department. Took the wife's new car in for the 5k mile check up and they marked that they checked the brakes and rotated the tires. I am very picky about how I take care of my things. Day one I marked the tires and their location so I can watch the wear. I also keep notes on other things as I have always done. I got home got my notes and what did I see?!?! The tires were not rotated, brakes not checked, and their tread depth was not even close to right! I made a phone call and they offered to come get the car to make things right, I started laughing and said do you think I would for one second trust you to drive my car let alone do any work to it now? Needless to say corperate and I had a very long talk and I sent them copies of my logs with dates. Funny thing is this dealership promised me up front in the sales agreement that none of this would go on. Guess we will see what comes of this. I can tell you this, I wil never trust a dealer to touch any of my vehicles unless I am right there watching them do the work under my direction!

Any info on the new series? Not until they are ready to be sold will any info be released.

Good deal on an awesome sub!
-
I would not decide on any sub or size until you knew for sure you have the needed room and power to have it perform properly. Another big question is "am I willing to give up that space for speakers?"
-
If you could sit in NEM's 4Runner, it would change your POV. I know I sure love the sound!
-
I bet it is on its way or very close to leaving the shop.

ZING! That is the cloudflare being touchy. I figured, but felt it was funny seeing that as an error.
-
I just got an SQL sight error. I thought that SQL was not used here.

We ordered 4 rims from a company and one arrived broken, the package was one ply box with blown in foam. Contacted the company and they said that happens because ups tends to play sports with heavy boxes sometimes. Reguardless of how well things are packed you can not protect from the variables from point A to point B. I can assure you that Scott and his guys take the time to make sure subs are packed properly for the given weight.

Sounds like lots of fun! Sucks ass. Resume first. I fucking hate tooting my own horn. I'm a huge fan of one page resume's and mine is fucking 5. I need to seriously reduce it. FUCK! 5 pages holy shit! Most people don't want more than on page or so I have been told.
