We are getting a month break at work as in not running every production line with mandatory OT.
-
Bench rest and just pull the trigger. Instant release.
-
Na we would have a good time. One you had the flex in your hands you would have a blast! I am only doing 5-6 vehicles this year, kind of of tired doing it for fun unless it is for a friend.
-
If we were closer, I have a couple Flex tools.
-
Do the trailer fenders also.

Very welcome, beautiful boat! As far as polisher, Griots will do a good job and I have seen people using HB freight ones as well. The most important thing is use the proper pads for the compounds. I have corrected to much damage caused by rotary buffers done by local shops here. As for coating, I would coat everything but the black. The flake should pop pretty good.

I forgot to mention, boats are a crazy amount of work. Even brand new off the showroom.

Anything left below the water surface will take a beating and build up contamination faster then you can keep it clean. System X and Ceramic Pro don't recommend it for high speed steering issues.
-
Do to steering control at high speeds. If you don't feel that would be an issue for you, you can do the bottom. For people who want System X, I use the extreme SS https://www.systemx.com/products/ For people who want something that is very durable and budget friendly, I use TEC 580 https://www.technicianschoice.net/products.asp?C0=1&C1=9&C2=0# On all my coatings I use TEC 582 as a maintenance refresher to keep the coating super slick. The slicker it is the less time debris has time to contaminate the surface. https://www.technicianschoice.net/products.asp?C0=1&C1=9&C2=0# If you are doing it yourself I would use the TEC 580. It is very easy to work with, flash time is about 30 seconds and is very forgiving. The system x flashes in 10-15 seconds and is not forgiving. Flash is the point where you level out your high spots. Are you going to cut and polish the gel to remove all the oxidation?
-
Yes, just don't do the bottom. Makes it much easier to clean.

If I had the room for a lift I'd opt for a 4 post with 2 bridges. I needed something that I could move.
-
I have one of these on the way. https://store.asedeals.com/workhorse-portable-car-lift-mr6k-38/

A lift is a must.

They did the 4runner in 21 with led lights. Waiting on people to swap them out so I can pick up a set to try.
-
I have a nice off road vehicle that saw a dirt road last year. Don't like to get it dirty so it is more of a garage queen, plus my 2 year old grandson tells people it is his runner.
-
Big steel bumper and noting can stop you! At least that is what they say in those FB groups.
-
Only if people show up asking questions.

I have a couple of these and seem to improve my MPG, just too early to say for sure. https://fabricg.com/products/car-oil-fuel-filter-for-4003-wix---1-2-28-5-8-24?fbclid=IwAR07rii0_Txjl_JdAko1MI7NjSDzBjCEqHTm1Tdc41-te__L1DWp7CXcVt0

I am not sure what is going on, but we have been running every production line making as much as we can. Not sure if sales are through the roof or we are stocking up for the apocalypse.
-
Correct. I tow nothing with my runners and fuel economy is not a selling point. I think the only reason people are buying so many is they are like a lego and build so neat vehicles. On that subject with all the groups and forums I belong to that pertain to 4runners, it seems to me that all the wrong people are buying them. A vehicle that is lost in time usually does not make a good fit for people who really want all the new features that other vehicles come with. All worthless information, but I have not posted in a bit.

That is awesome Sean!
-
Also let me add my daily 4runner just turned 130k, looks new and rocks the block when needed. Everything SSA to, except the head unit!
-
I wish you all good and hope things always work out. Things have been super busy here, my daughter is getting married next weekend and my grandson turned 2 this past Monday. This guy is getting old and keeping many many cars perfected and ceramic coated!
