I was trimming the bushes and came across this tree like branch and trimmed it as well. To my surprise to gave me a gift. Just out looking at it because now I know what to look for and it is covering a large area. Tomorrow I will be covered in tyvec and rubber getting to the roots!

Bit of a struggle with the new family dynamic. I never dreamed the hardest thing to date is being without my kids everyday. My son moved 2 hours away with his girlfriend and my daughter is hardly ever home. Guess after I have her college paid it just may be time to find a beach home. My friend, I help him when he needs it. That knife was hand hammered. About 10 hours worth. Making damascus is a 2 man job without the power hammer.

First kitchen knife and first damasus, made from 1095 and 15n20 steel. Lots of hammer swinging on that piece. Once the power hammer is up and running it should go much quicker for him.
