How about a little throw back?
-
Think how awesome that pic will be with your new lens!!!! Just using my cell phone, hell I just realized you can turn the camera instead of using a mirror.

See what you did to me Matt

Why must you continue to tease me, Matt!

Maybe time to sneak in some 2"~3" at the base of the "A" pillar of the 4Runner. I vote Fountek, Fostex or maybe Dayton. You heard the 4runner first hand and would know what I should use. Plus you know how bright I like my music. Don of SDS has the TB W3-1364's: http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?partnumber=264-844 They were brighter than my Founteks, maybe a little more on axis demanding, but also a pinch more towards your ear on pin point precision compared to mine. The Aura 3" FR I have in the bedroom towers, are REALLY impressive for the price, but personally I think the Founteks are a pinch better for in cabin. These TB's caught my eye: http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?partnumber=264-812 before I bought what I have now. I love underhung top end, as what I have now are, but these are more competitively priced. Sean did not seem to like them all that much if I remember correctly, along with the TB 1878's I ALMOST pulled the trigger on. I will have to look it up, but I specifically remember the Fontek FR58's getting really strong reviews, as they are what lead me to the 89's. What do you think about these http://www.madisoundspeakerstore.com/approx-3-fullrange/fountek-fr89ex-3-full-range-4-ohm/

One long Holiday party then!

The XCON is one of the best sounding 18's that can get straight up nutty! Now that is just my opinion.

Sweet, have fun Adrian!

Well if it's got boobs or wheels it's going to cost money. Tits or tires as my dad says.

Yea, I just want a better everyday lens. When I go in November I will keep you posted. Plus I will be taking some pic of Niagra Fall that weekend.
-
I do have a zoom lens that is 55-200 2.5. I have used it a couple times for long ocean shots.
-
Thanks Matt, that is what I was thinking, but wanted some opinions. That is what most of my pics are. I never do any portrait shooting.

Link didn't have product for me.... What are you looking to shoot the most of? What ever really, vacation, building, and don't really have a need for a lot of zoom. Of these three which would be the best to focus on when I go to the store to look at them? http://store.sony.com/16-50mm-f-2.8-mid-range-zoom-lens-zid27-SAL1650/cat-27-catid-All-Alpha-DSLR-Lenses http://store.sony.com/28-75mm-f-2.8-sam-constant-aperture-zoom-lens-zid27-SAL2875/cat-27-catid-All-Alpha-DSLR-Lenses?_t=pfm%3Dcategory http://store.sony.com/carl-zeiss-vario-sonnar-t-24-70mm-f2.8-zoom-lens-zid27-SAL2470Z/cat-27-catid-All-Alpha-DSLR-Lenses?_t=pfm%3Dcategory

Damn you guys for getting this back in my head!!!

Sean and Matt I have been on the fence about my lens. I currently use 18-55 3.5 SAM that came with my camera. I am looking at these three and want you opinions on which you guys think. I hope to be going to a camera store in November and have checked out B&H for their opinions. http://store.sony.com/gsi/webstore/WFS/SNYNA-SNYUS-Site/en_US/-/USD/ViewProductCompareService-Show?CategoryID=3rQKmUBw5qcAAAFAcpEihoTf

I sure know it is hard Matt. I visited my gram who is 93 in the extended care unit at our local hospital and boy is that hard to absorb. We talked about her watching us grow up and all the crazy things I did on the farm. She looked at me and expressed how much she hated being in there and wants to die on the farm, not some damn hospital.

You guys are making me want to go buy my Zeiss. Please stop all this lens talk. B-)
-
Sorry Matt.

It is always on the way. I am down to one machinest and he works M-F 5-5, so that means when I am there I get to make chips when needed. Can you machine polycarbonate? I have machined lexan, nylon, duralon, and uhmw.
