It actually was fun and they got a laugh or two with my expressions when I did not like something. You'd get that on my face there a bunch too I think. Cold weather grapes aren't my thing. They are trying shit around here too, I can't drink any of it. Of course, I haven't tried that much though. Once you try 10 or so you don't like you aren't eager for more. I didn't know there were vineyards there either. You've got me curious to explore a bit now. I do like some ice wines which are winter grapes they pick in February.

Stopped at a liquor store in horsehead Ny and found some nice deals. Surprised how big it was compared to ours.

Tonight she is enjoy some blueberry. I should go to a winery and do some tasting. I tend to enjoy the sweeter wines. not a big fan of the overly dry wines. I too like the sweets, but have not really developed a true taste for wine. My first wine festival was this summer with Aaron and I think he enjoyed watching my facial expressions as I do not have a poker face.

The wife has already opened a bottle. Not sure if she is seeing how fast she can drink these 3.5 cases, but I will watch her enjoy herself.

Back from the wine and shopping trip. Surprised at how much fun I had. The wife and I went with the owners of spookhaven which have been our best friends forever, but they fight and bitch a lot and I have a hard time dealing with that. So this weekend I made them promise not to bitch or fight and smile or I would not go and guess what, they did it! I made comment of how nice it was to have fun together without any negativity and they both thanked me and Ronda for it. Glad to finally see them enjoy each other.

Fuck yeah. We had a kick ass cider mill not 10 minutes from my place in the Southtowns of Buffalo My favorite so far.

Up there at the finger lakes, eh? That sure is some beautiful country. Yes sir, back at again. It would be sweet to live along this lake.

Because the alcohol dilates your blood vessels, so it makes you feel warmer than you actually are. Interestingly this reduces your body's ability to keep it's core temperature up and regulate that temperature....so while you "feel" warmer your body is actually colder and you are at a higher risk of effects like hypothermia.

They do make some very good cider up here.

As usual I drank too much and ate too little. Funny how the cold has no bearing on you once you are shit faced.

Checking in at the top of Seneca lake tonight. Spent the day stopping at every winery on the east side and tomorrow we will head south doing the same on the west side.
